Outstanding value! Thick, good quality containers, just the right size.
Was very surprised at the value I received. Not only are there good quality plastic containers that are sized perfectly for a typical 1KG roll of filament, but there’s room for adding a desiccant basket and/or roller function at the bottom.It was particularly helpful that these came with two half-kilogram of color-changing orange desiccant, for a total of 1KG of desiccant in sealed, resealable bottles. And they do appear to have good sealing around the container AND on the very large pouring hole. But speaking of a very large pouring hole…..These aren’t perfect, and there’s room for improvement, but I suspect that these are repurposed dry bulk containers judging by that big hole in the lid. Since a foreseeable use of these is to feed filament directly from the container, having a much smaller hole to pass through the filament would be ideal; something like a silicone straw hole would work well. Still, it will work fine passing through the large hole even though it does open it to the atmosphere more than I’d like. The labels are not erasable, and a bit meh, but they work fine for permanent labels. Nothing pretty, but that doesn’t detract from their value in my opinion.None of these limitations warrant reducing the star count, as this purchase definitely still exceeded expectations.

Work Great! Seal Really Well
These seal really great. I’ve had them for just about a day, and the humidity level is dropped to around 10% for most containers already. For context, these are in my basement, which has a humidity level of about 50-60%. These are really good! A bit expensive but quality is great.

These seem to be larger than necessary for 1kg spools–smaller (fitting closer to the spool) would enclose less air and would (probably) improve moisture control in storage. The alternative of big zip-lock bags isn’t any better at that tho.These seem likely to be originally made for something else (dry food storage?) and repurposed. They do seem to reduce/eliminate moisture getting inside, and the included desiccant beads help to keep dry filament dry.Also the cover latch system, while working ok, results is bulkier containers (less compact on the shelf).Humidity seems pretty stable in the several-day time frame so far–I printed some adapters to fit hygrometers into the inside of the flip-up covers, (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MCGDN5C?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) .TBH they seemed a little expensive but I didn’t realize this included desiccant and mesh bags, so that helps a little bit (6-pack).

Good airtight storage containers
Sealed, perfect for anything that needs to be in an airtight container. The included desiccant is a huge plus. I purchased a 6 pack hygrometer and popped one in here and it kept it at 10% RH.

I’ve been 3D printing a couple of years now and I can highly recommend storing your filament in these tubs. I used to think it didn’t make a difference, but it does.My prints are more crisp, the nozzle doesn’t get blocked and the filament comes out smoother.After drying the filament in a separate device, I placed the reels into the tubs along with the silica beads that come with it, I was surprised at how much moisture the beads capture in the sealed environment even after drying.Good purchase. I ordered the 5 pack and it only came with 3 bags for the beads, it would have been. I’ve to have 5 bags.

Inexpensive but very efficient filament storage containers. I even went so far as to 3d print some support arms for a PVC roller, a small digital humidity reader, and a 6mm grommet (both sourced from Amazon) to permit the filament to be spoiled straight from the storage box. So for less than $9 per container, I have filament dispensers that cost $24+ on Amazon…and some effort on my part. Highly recommend these storage containers…even if only to store 3d filaments or other products in an air tight and dry condition.

Es passen alle Filament Spulen die ich in Benutzung habe (bis 1 kg) in den Behälter hinein. (Amzon Basic, Bambu Lab, Sunlu) Zusätzlich habe ich mir noch Hygrometer gekauft um zu sehen welche Luftfeuchtigkeit im inneren ist. Anstelle der Beutel für das Trocknungsmittel habe ich mir Behälter gedruckt.

Une fermeture de boite est arrivée cassée mais je suis très content de ces boites. Un seul petit défaut : leur forme en V gais perdre de la place pour le rangement. Il aurait mieux valu une forme plus rectangulaire (qui aurait été moins jolie certes). Je viens de m’apercevoir qu’n les mettant tête bêche je peux ranger deux boîtes de plus dans le même espace. Bon produit et livré avec sachets seddicants
