Great for travel
The embroidery floss is ready to use, doesn’t knot up while stitching. The colors are vibrant and such a great value. The organizer is quite compact. I love that feature as I use it when I travel. I’m getting ready to go on a lengthy trip and just organized the colors I need into the top sections of the caddy. You’re There’s was room for everything I need. able to separate the sections and I use just one when I travel. The price was so reasonable I almost didn’t buy as I thought it might be low quality. I recommend this one.

Lots of colors & good quality
This is a great kit. Lots of colors and everything is organized and easy to access. The clips aren’t the strongest ever, so they do come unlatched sometimes- but we are happy overall.

Great little kit for projects when you don’t know exactly what colors you’ll need. This has come in handy several times already, can’t wait to use it for my next creation. Note: colors don’t come sorted – I went back and grouped like-colors together.

Originally bought three years ago, completely different quality
I bought this product originally three years ago, almost to the day. That set happily lasted me, and would have lasted me, semi-consistent embroidering for multiple years. I would have given this product gushing praise and recommended it to anyone looking to start embroidery. Unfortunately, when we were moving, someone stole my craft bag and I lost this set, and my back up set of floss.I write this review, however, to let you all know that this is not the product I received upon this second purchase. While it looks the same, the quality is noticeably worse upon just first touch. The box latches were far more flimsy, there were ten less floss than last time, the scissors do not cut well (you must press them together as you cut, and the tip is not sharp enough to snip cleanly), one of the needle threaders came sharp enough to cut, and the needles came with sharpened eyes that cut the floss as it was pushed through.I was willing to let most of this go, as you can always buy new needles, the container does not necessarily need to be travel worthy anyway, and floss is easy enough to come by, as to be fair, there is a good variation in color in this set. However, as I began a new embroidery project, the black floss thinned and broke one strand at a time for seemingly no reason. I took a file to dull both the needle and the needle threader, thinking perhaps they, too, were especially low quality. This did not help. I tried multiple needles and switched to the second threader that came with this set. This also did not help. The floss I was using was the black 310, arguably a very important floss color to have a good quality floss of. This had never happened to any of the floss that came in the original order. This is not the only color that I have had trouble with, but definitely the one that pushed me over the edge to write this review.I highly suggest looking at the other embroidery set options in the same price range to save yourself some money, time, and frustration. If you’re like me, you will feel bad for wasting the floss (even if the quality is not great) and buying something that was not optimal and needing to spend more money anyway so soon down the line. While I do not believe the material makes the artist, it makes it much easier to practice when you are not fighting your materials the entire way through.I genuinely hope this review was helpful.
