Best Gift Ever
BWe absolutely love this 3D printer! It works great and was easy to set up right out of the box. My 11-year-old said it’s the best gift ever, and he’s already made a bunch of cool projects. Prints come out smooth and detailed, and it’s been a wonderful way to get him excited about creativity and STEM. Highly recommend for kids and beginners!

Great first printer
Christmas gift last year for a 9 year old. He loved it and has run about 25kg of PLA through this machine. Set up was relatively easy although getting it connected to a device took a couple of tries. Great first printer and the app has a lot of prebuilt models ready to go.It’s also usable with a thrid party slicer and it’s been awesome watching him how to import, scale and print third party designs.

Works just fine.
It does as described. After getting more into the slicing program it came with, instead of just loading everything to the TF card and printing off that, I enjoy it even more. Probably could have gone with a more name brand printer, all the prints I really want are bigger than this, but it has gotten me to try to make my own stuff that fits within the 100x100x100 build limit. Think 1 limit is 120 or so, but I just stick with 100 all around. It even printed petg, but I think I needed to dry it before use, still a beginner after all.One thing i had to really change was this elephant foot effect. Nozzle starts too close to bed, smushing the pla to the bed and making it spread out a bit too much. Seems the Wiibuilder slicer program is rather old so instead of calling it elephant foot like I saw on some other guides for other slicer that people use, it’s just “Initial Layer Horizontal expansion, set to -.1 mm for fix.My only negatives have been user error like not proper bed heat setting or the foot thing. I’m more of a person who tries to buy name brand, bambulabs will be my next printer, over side stuff, like this is in my opinion, but this does just fine.Oh I guess I should mention like how it sounds. Upstairs in my loft area, I can hear it when downstairs, but that’s just echoes. The printer is on a table not touching a wall, but is along the wall next to my room. With the door closed, I can hear it, but just enough that I know it’s still printing. It is not silent, but not close to annoying to trap it in a whole other room behind a door. All in all, great printer, no tinkering much at all with the machine. Only tinkering is print splice settings.

Easy to use, good beginner printer with some minor flaws.
Easy to use. Printer worked well for a couple of weeks, then my son noticed his software disappeared from the TF card. Shortly after we got a TF init failed message from the printer and can no longer load anything to print. The company responded within 24 hrs and helped us resolve the issue by providing the files needed so that we could continue using the printer.

Received a defective product and no support
An illusion of good customer service. Our machine won’t calibrate correctly and punched holes in mat/bed. The manufacturer only wants you to use their products but they are much more expensive. I bought a replacement hot end and bed to try to resolve after getting nowhere with customer service – they want a video upload on their app to prove it’s not working but the app won’t accept videos with a large enough size to show the problem. They won’t admit the possibility of us getting a faulty machine so basically we just wasted $200. Worse part is, it was a gift for our 10 y/o son, so since we didn’t discover the malfunction until months after purchase, we can’t get a refund. I tried escalating through Amazon customer service but they kept directing me to the unhelpful seller/manufacturer. Save your money and invest in a better machine, with a supportive company behind it. Such a bummer.
