    Easy to set up
My son is 13, and is on the autism spectrum, and asked for a 3-D printer this year. I sort of randomly chose this one. It was very easy to set up, he set it up all by himself, which is great because I would’ve been absolutely no help. He has printed a couple of things successfully and is really pleased with it.

I still haven’t been able to connect to the app.
Using the preprogrammed examples the printer always prints a full size base before it prints the actual example. Not sure why just uses print stock. I got this for my grandson for christmas thinking it could generate interest in engineering. It works great but you really need a entry level app.

Lack of heated build plate is a dealbreaker
This is a nice printer and the test pieces that come on the SD card print well. The big takeaway from the printer is that it does not have a heated bed, which limits your printing options to PLA with a raft. Even then the raft still can detach due to the cool temps. With my larger printer I printed doors to cover the back and front openings which did a decent job of holding in more heat, but even then I still had curling on the build plate, which led to the failure of some prints. The process of swapping out parts to add a headed bed requires you to replace most of the components and at that point it would be more cost effective to get a printer with a heated build plate.Overall I would say at this point in the 3d printing world you should not get a printer without a heated build area. This alone is a deal breaker for me and this printer will definitely not get as much use is it could have.

    Nice little printer.
I have been hobby 3D printing for a long time now. For the price this is, I was not expecting too much. The printer arrived well packaged and was easy to assemble, the major work being removal of parts to protect during shipping, connecting the ptfe tube and extending the hook for the filament (a small roll was supplied). The printer comes with an SD card with several models included (and an adapter for USB for the PC). The print bed is magnetic plastic with a wide “masking tape” strip and several replacement strips are supplied though stock up as these will not last that long (someone suggested around a dozen prints before replacing). I was concerned that the lack of heated bed would lead to adhesion issues but that proved not to be the case (though I only tried printing with PLA).I printed three models which all printed with no issues. Each model had a ‘raft’ which assists with the adhesion. These removed easily when the print was done. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the printer does mesh levelling which greatly simplifies the printing process. The process of printing was easy with the click-wheel navigation though I did notice that the click wheel was a bit unresponsive sometimes. This was a minor annoyance though and didn’t cause any issues. The models as printed were of good quality and very close to that of my more expensive, fancier printer from what I could tell. They did take something like twice as long to print though but they were still pretty fast. Most of the models on the card are about an hour with a couple coming in at a bit over two. I tried both the supplied filament and a small spool of rainbow filament I had lying around (despite warnings on the printer to only use that supplied by the printer manufacturer). There appears to be no wifi connectivity but the printer does have a USB-B port so attaching something like Octopi might be a possibility if you’re inclined in that direction. The two main downsides to the printer that I can see are the small printbed (if you find 3d printing is your thing, you will quickly find it restrictive) and that the filament holder is not designed for a full 1kg roll which is the most common size on the market right now. However, for the latter case, you will have a 3d printer so it should not be an issue for long.

Great beginner product and easy set up
The initial set up was very easy and the instructions were detailed by including QR codes and informational stickers. I have made numerous quality prints, but the filament that comes with the printer is a little cheap.

Very surprised at the capabilities of this little printer. Punches waaay above its weight.
I didn’t have high hopes for this little printer going in but I have been curious about it’s capabilities for some time and I have wanted try one out and review one for some time.First off, there are no frills on this printer -the “frame” is the plastic shell itself, no aluminum extrusions here, but beings small it is pretty rigid. It is a bed slinger, despite “looking” like a coreXY, it’s not. Also, it uses a bowden extruder, no direct drive, the stepper motors are fairly small, the user interface is minimal, it has no wifi, and the bed is unheated allowing only for printing of PLA and PETG, maybe even some stiffer TPUs but I haven’t tried.Despite all of those shortcomings, I have to say that the print quality is outstanding. I was very surprised at the almost total absence of layer lines, even on curved surfaces (see photos). It was very easy to download the software and set it up in Windows 11, although I printed mostly the models which were included on the memory card. The print bed is just a fridge magnet sheet (no, really) with a layer of masking tape on top, but it is cheap to order a textured steel bed for it which will last much longer. Given its small size and the extreme lightness of the bed, there is no bed wobble or Z-wobble as there is on some of my larger (and much more expensive) printers.Again, I am really impressed by the excellent print quality of this little printer. I think it should be able to print ABS if you just put the box it came in over it -you want a budget enclosure? There! I am going to try this next.If you do order one of these make sure you have some filament on hand, as the sample spool which comes with it contains a very, very stingy amount of filament. The spool holder can only fit the small 250g spools, so if you have the larger spools the first thing to print is one of the tabletop spool rollers which use bearings, this way it solves its own shortcoming. Again, brilliant.
