I was a little skeptical with this kit considering how cheap it is. It works perfect. I have no complaints. I jokingly refer to myself as a seam ripper and not a seamstress because I’m constantly having to redo my creations. I’m not new to sewing but constantly make stupid mistakes. These have done their job well.

It seriously comes with everything you need! This is perfect if you’re beggining or need something on the go, or even if you’re starting a class. If you plan to do sowing long term i’d say to get a bigger pack of seam rippers though. Definetly reccommend!

Nice little set here worth a look!
I was pleasantly surprise (in a good way) by this item … a couple times! After I have had an opportunity to use these, I may increase my rating, which was lowered for only three small reasons: 1) small scissors are cheap plastic with bent tips [probably for a cuticle set], 2) sticker on top [rather than a paper inside, which just means I have to use vegetable oil to remove glue residue in case I want to use the case for something else, and 3) too much grease on snipper blades could get on fabric if not cleand off. As you can read … these are tiny ME issues and not product issues.Let’s talk the product. First WOW! The fabric snippers are METAL! These are not going to break after the first or even many uses. I really liked that! Both scissors and snippers are in their own clear plastic cases. These helps keep things organized. Love that! The measuring tape is PLASTIC and not some cheap paper tape! That was a big WOW for me (as they really coulda gone super cheap here). AND … the inches are marked on both sides! One side, just inches, the other has inches opposite cm and mm. Nice! [I hate having to flip a tape measure over when I forget to look at what side I’m using.]The whole reason I ordered this set was because I couldn’t find mine during a search as I was altering a Shein design flaw. While I would have preferred a brand like Dritz I am happy to see how this Riveda performs. Is the plastic that cheaper, brittle plastic. Yup, but so was the one that came with my Singer (melamin-ish). So, while I am super happy with my purchase, I will reserve the right to increase or decrease my rating after use (I have other things I want to rip apart now! Plus, I gotta clean up the oil so I don’t get that on anything white).
