Our journey started in a hospital room. My daughter was diagnosed with an incredibly rare disease requiring frequent hospitalizations, and as her mom, I was determined to make sure she stay strong emotionally, I wanted to teach her important life skills such as patience, resilience and self-confidence. I realized that the school didn’t teach this, neither did the toy industry. Nobody was focusing on the emotional intelligence of kids, so I did.

Our products are built to bring children fun and entertainment while also providing therapeutic benefits. Children will eagerly open their boxes to find a wide variety of activities to do, from coloring, to magic tricks, to fidget toys, talking cards and more. These items were carefully designed to develop motor skills, reduce stress, build confidence, and provide bonding opportunities for families.

All Of These Are Great
So useful, I need them sold as a bundle though because one of each activity is not enough!

Good kit to spark discussion around emotions
This was a nice kit to worth through with my 6YO. They served more as one-time activities versus reference materials for later, aside from the lovely glitter bottle! Quality kit and a good leaning tool and conversation starter around emotions and feelings.

great set for kids when they get escalated
this is a great craft kit for kids- especially if your kiddo has anxiety or other conditions that result in them feeling really escalated. It’s a nice set that gives them something soothing to focus on until their nervous system can settle a bit. It’s great to do a craft WITH the kiddo and then just casually chat with them as they settle down to help them process what happened and talk about their feelings without feeling like all the focus is on them/what happened. Our son’s therapist has used it with him and so have we.

Perfect
I cannot recommend the Open The Joy Calming Crafts Kit highly enough! This kit has been an incredible resource for my neurodivergent child. It offers such a thoughtful variety of mindfulness art activities and sensory projects that have really helped her learn to identify and manage her emotions in a creative, hands-on way. Each activity is well-designed, easy to follow, and genuinely fun. More importantly, they open the door to meaningful conversations and self-reflection, which is so valuable. I’ve noticed a real difference in how she expresses herself and copes with big feelings since we started using it.This is more than just a craft kit—it’s a powerful emotional learning tool disguised as play. A wonderful gift for any child, especially those who benefit from extra support with emotional regulation. Thank you for creating something so thoughtful and effective!

Good conversation starter with an activity to stay on topic
This kit is a great way to open a conversation about emotions. It’s a cute kit. We’ve done two activities and they’re alright. My son is excited to make the bottle, but we’re working our way through the book one activity at a time. He really liked the Body Scan people. He has kept them to play with and we act out different emotions and talk about how it’s good to feel your emotions, but also how we can help each other when we’re having negative emotions. The second activity is really just assembling the Emotion Thermometer. I like that we got to talk about and choose our favorite coping techniques, but also the thermometer seems to focus specifically on anger.I think it’s mostly a good conversation starter over crafts, which are fun for kids to do with us and helps keep them on the topic. The book even offers a little starter line to help open the topic for each craft.UPDATE: we’ve done the other two activities now. I think the iceberg concept was kind of lost on my son. The bottle was fun, though messy. I think it would work better if the neck was a bit wider. The glitter clumps up in there. The sticker is meant for you to look at it THROUGH the bottle, but the text on it faces out. Just another example of small errors.

A must
This company really knows what they are doing! I homeschool my 7 year old and he really enjoyed this interactive activity. I was drawn to it because the last activity we got from this company was also a hit. It’s all about emotions and how to handle them all while having fun. It’s a must have activity for any young one having trouble regulating emotions.

learning and play at the same time
I bought the Open The Joy Crafting Your Emotions kit for my 9-year-old niece, and it’s been absolutely amazing! She’s always been a creative kid, and this kit combines that love with a fantastic way to learn about emotions. The variety of activities is so amazing! The rainbow emotions poster, the bead stringing, the emotion monsters, the 3D car model – it’s all so engaging and keeps her mind going. She loved using the mini markers and stickers to personalize everything. What I really appreciate is how the kit seamlessly integrates learning with play. It’s not just crafting; it’s a mindful exploration of feelings. The instruction booklet is clear and easy to follow, and the activities are designed to encourage self-expression and emotional regulation. It’s a fantastic sensory experience too! This kit is perfect for any child who loves to create and explore.
