I had listened to a financial expert mention this product — previously I had not heard of it.What arrives is a simple, black nylon/fabric covered box with a zip top and lock on the front — included are some hanging file folders in letter size in a variety of colors as well as directions on how to set the lock and a list of things to put in this document holder and sorter.This is really for somebody to do this with organization and initiative, this is not an overly-designed and prompted kit to lead you through this process.I have also seen other products available, such aa pre-labeled tabs that correspond to a variety of these important categories.Having this family organizer on hand, especially since it is fireproof & waterproof and great durability — it’s probably one of the best things that a family can have.When you need this kind of information and don’t have it, it is extremely hard. This is the proper way to document the most important information belonging to an individual or family and have it located in one place. Even if things are put together digitally, there will always be some items that need a physical location.Most people who believe they have this information in order (and easily understandable) are probably not going to be as thorough or appreciative of this type of product. If wanting to use with parents or older adults, this is the type of product an adult child can purchase for themselves, put together for themselves and use as an example of a best practice that their relatives should also have.Given the price point is accessible, it really leans toward the practicality of this type of documentation and organization. So for the type of product it is and how life-changing it can be for those that need it when they need it, this is an outstanding thing to have. From a product perspective I think it could’ve had much more organizational prompts and documents and templates to use. This process of documenting things can get overwhelming and the more help you have easier it is.
