Easily get started with no experience!
Loving this set so far… the kit comes with absolutely everything you need to get started and I’m loving the patterned fabric. Hoops stay tight too. Instructions are simple, but doable, and google-able too… I got mine last week and I’ve almost finished the Nativity scene in just a little bit of time really. I’m going to make them and give them away for Christmas presents this year if I’m talented enough to continue! Lol! I’ll probably order the other set with the red truck too… make that for my son. No experience with embroidery before this kit, but I do like to cross-stitch. Hope this review helps! 🙂

Everything you need for a festive holiday project!
This little embroidery kit turned out to be exactly what I needed for those evenings when I want to keep my hands busy but my brain only half-engaged. The patterns are the kind of designs that make you hum Christmas songs without realizing it. Everything you need is right there in the box, so if you’re just starting and don’t have much variety in floss stock – no worries!.I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the thread. It’s smooth and doesn’t feel like the cheap stuff that usually comes with these all-in-one kits.Even if you’re brand new to embroidery, it’s super approachable. If you’re like me and have stitched your fair share but sometimes want a project that doesn’t require laser focus, it’s a great pick. I worked on mine while chatting with my partner about our day, and it was just the right mix of relaxing and productive. By the end, I had something cute enough to hang up for the holidays and a nice sense of accomplishment.

Great embroidery Christmas gift for first timers!
Instant hit! I have never done embroidery before but I do know how to sew. These sets were an instant hit for me and my child. We immediately started working on these kits upon arrival. I initially didn’t know that on one side it had the picture and the description of the sew type and on the other side it had the number but thread per picture for you to follow. Now I get why the threads were each numbered.Originally I was just eyeballing the colors and patterns but then once I realized that there was detailed instructions it made it much easier! This is a great value for your money! It comes with 4 hoops, and 4 kits with all of the threads you will need. The clothes have the print and once you are done it will rinse right out, so make sure not to get it wet before then.It comes with a bunch of needles.I am still learning how to embroider. This is our first time doing this but it is very fun, peaceful and exciting activity for me and my child to work on. Hopefully we’ll be done by Christmas! These will make great gifts!

    I love the embroidery pieces!!!
The instructions included with the embroidery Christmas Kit, make it so easy to learn for a beginner. I had never done embroidery before and so far they are working out well; I haven’t made any mistakes. 🙂 I started with the candy cane since it was the easiest one and have moved on to the truck next. I’m excited to have them completed by Thanksgiving to hang up when we start Christmas decorations after dinner. This kit was also a great value and price since it comes with four different embroidery pieces to use. I feel like this would be good for any age and is a fun activity to work on with friends when we hang out to talk as well.

    Perfect Kit for Beginners…
I love this kit! I’m looking forward to beginning these embroidery prints. As a kit, they have included absolutely everything that you will need to finish all of the prints, including the tools such as a seam ripper and needles. The hoops are made of strong wood to keep the print from slipping and sliding as you sew. There is complete instructions of each stitch that you need to complete the prints too. If you are a beginner, these will be perfect for you. If you are a seasoned needlecrafter these will be well worth your investment to add these adorable patterns to your collection.

    Unclear Directions and Cheap Hoops
I’m an experienced cross-stitcher and I thought these might be a neat way to branch out into embroidery. The designs are very pretty and I will say that the designs on the fabric are clearly printed. It was a nice touch to include a seam ripper, scissors, needles, and threader, although the scissors are of fairly low quality and I don’t see them lasting long. The “plum blossom” threader is cute but again, I’m not optimistic that it would last long. The hoops are of very light wood and the 4 I received had multiple splinters and rough spots with a high potential for snags. The fabric itself seems decent, although I’m more used to canvas so can’t really judge it.So why is this getting 2 stars? Because the instructions that came with the kit are very questionable, in my opinion, especially for a beginner. From the “friendly tips”, errors theirs: “A thread is 6 small strands of thread, one by one drawn out, 3 small continuous pumping, through the needle hole.” Underneath that it says “a thread is 6 small strands of thread, one by one drawn out, two consecutive small, through the needle hole, half discount knot.” The directions on the stitching side are somewhat better but still not great. Typos are from the document, not mine. “Penertate the colth at about 0.7 cm,embroider a straight stitch. Don’ t strain the thread, retreat about 0.2 cm in the second stitch, then pass the needle through the cloth again. After tightening the thread, penetrate the cloth.”Finally, the instructions are a photo of the finished item with text/lines indicating each color/stitch/strand count. I’ve included an example from one of the kits; it’s hard to tell what the outline stitch is to be used for in the branch at the top right, and the bow doesn’t have any instructions. I can make informed extrapolations, but I don’t feel that I should have to.For the price and from the description, I would have expected better-written instructions and hoops that don’t stand a chance of actually damaging the work in question. I will probably try to complete it but I anticipate having to resort to some Youtube tutorials and other resources to have a better idea on how to make these and have them look decent.
