quality products and ease of use
Super easy to use for children and adults. The software is very simple and straightforward. The printer functions and produces high quality products. I would highly recommend. Value for the the price, the ease of the software doing the slicing for you makes it so much more fun!

    Fun for all.
Fun 3D printer for kids. Prints well, not professional quality but for kids it is great. Good value for the money. Does take a while to print. Easy to use and set up.

Great product with great customer service!
This is a fun easy to use printer. Mine stopped working properly 3 months into using, and customer service was great! They sent me free replacement parts, and when nothing seemed to fix it they sent me a new printer! Great product and great service!

    Tech support not responsive
We purchased this printer on February 8th. About 3 weeks ago we started having issues. Filament wasn’t coming out of the nozzle. I emailed Aoseed, they sent me some troubleshooting to do. We got filament to come out but the prints were “hairy” and not as good of quality. Again, I emailed Aoseed and they have me check the temperature settings. This was correct. Then they said it was our filament. The filament must have gotten wet or moisture got to it and that is causing the “hairy” and poor print quality. I purchased brand new filament. We printed again, and the same issue. The prints are “hairy. I ah e not heard back from them. We haven’t had a working printer in 3-4 weeks with no resolution. They have not responded to my last email. I would love to give them 5 stars, the app is great, my 10 yr old loves this printer but we unfortunately can’t use it and they are not being very helpful anymore.

    Awesome!
Awesome! This 3D printer is perfect for my 12yr old son. It’s super easy to use and with the app you can print a much more variety of toys. I would give it 5 stars but upon piecing together the printed toys, you will find they break easily and you need to reprint the broken piece which can take anywhere from 10-50min depending on the piece.

It’s ok for basic prints, but better options are out there for comparable prices.
I usually don’t write reviews, but seeing that this is a big purchase I felt that more insight for parents or people unfamiliar with 3D printing that are looking into this product could help you make better decision.Pros:- Quick to set up.- Decent build quality and overall look.- X maker and X print apps are pretty straightforward and can be figured out easily with just some clicking around.Cons:- Misleading information regarding being “level free.”- You do need to manually calibrate in the beginning and occasionally with regular use if you want fair quality prints.- You can only load .stl files into X print.- Misleading information regarding compatibility with other slicer software e.g. bambu studio or orca slicer.- Slow print speed.- Value – For the same comparable price you can get a better intro printer if you’re fine with forgoing the “kid focused” aesthetic and software.Overall, this printer does print things decent enough if you’re not overly concerned about having the best print quality. My son loved it right out of the box and we were able to get printing quickly, but with the slow print speeds you are going to be waiting a decent time for figures. Print quality on small figures are kind bleh and if you’re making anything with multiple parts that are meant to fit in very low tolerances then you might not be successful every time because of what seems like lower accuracy. Print in place objects have typically done well for us. I really started to notice major limitations when printing certain things on their X maker app like the lucky 13 robot which has multiple parts with small clips and press fitting. Tweaking some settings in X print does help, but the options are limited compared to Bambu studio. I was very tempted to return this product, but seeing as my son is very young and was generally happy with the successful prints I decided to keep it and let him grow and learn with this. I have a Bambu Labs A1 for myself which I got after messing with this printer for a little because it got me interested and figured that it was necessary to make more complex things. At the end of day it’s a good product for young kids, but if you’re kid is older and if you as the parent have an interest in trying it out yourself then you’re way better off getting something like the Bambu labs A1 or A1 mini with the mini being cheaper than this with better quality prints and direct access to Bambu studios which is awesome.

    Great product for new users!
Bought this for my daughters birthday gift. It was simple to setup with clear instructions. The app that connects with it provides so many fun ideas. She has already successfully completed three projects with ease. It’s fairly quiet. And it’s nice to be able to turn the lights on and off as needed. Technology that encourages imagination is a win!
