Coordinate Across the Family – this Planner Helps
A planner for the family! Families do need to coordinate schedules, meals, information – otherwise it’s chaos. I honestly don’t know how we managed when I was a kid. How did my Mom do it? Well, I do know she had a small book, and she had our information in it, and there was a calendar on the fridge, and she did the meals in her head (in her head!).This planner makes it easier. It has a great section up front, where you can put all the individual information – everyone’s name, birthdays, schools and phone numbers. I’m going to add doctors, dentists, etc. and there’s possibly other stuff that you might keep written down somewhere that you could stash in this book – maybe allergies? And hey, why isn’t the lead couple’s anniversary date on the form??After that it’s all about planning. The weekly plan has tons of room for schedules and tracking. I’m not sure how useful the habits/routines/tasks checkoff dots are, but some people might get into that. I might use it for something, just not sure what. Maybe one week, we’ll decide we’re going to track how many times the puppy has an oops on the living room rug. Another week we might track how many times Dad swears at the TV. that kind of think. give a reward at the end.The planner is undated so you can start using it whenever. The monthly section gives you options to do meal planning — imagine writing down what meals you’re going to make for the whole month. Then each night, no worries, no standing there in the kitchen trying to figure out what tonight’s dinner will be. Fantastic idea. There’s also a budget and expense tracking sheet- not sure it’s quite large enough for us, but we could give it a whirl.Beautiful cover and spiral bound! fantastic.

    New best friend!
I LOVE this organizer! The first section has a ton of useful and thoughtful detail pages, like family medical info, important numbers, birthdays and anniversaries to remember by month. The second section is a monthly planner, which includes goals for the month, notes from the month, and I adore the Habits and routines section so I can hold myself accountable for healthier routines I’m working on. You just list the habit and check mark the day if you did it. Super simple and thoughtful. In between every month section as well as weekly, there’s a budget section and wellness section to help you stay on track month to month. As well as easily look back at past months to compare. The third section is weekly, you can use this in tandem with the monthly for busy months, or completely separate and get 2 years use from theirs organizer. The weekly section has much more space for details, kids schedules and appts, and still has the habits and routines section but also with an am/pm set up.Because it’s not dated, you can hop in and start using it, without wasting any pages, as soon as you receive it.There’s a book mark attached to the back cover so you can easily flip to where ever you’re using it. The front and back covers are thick and durable with metal rounded end caps for added longevity.I cannot express enough how wonderful and practical this organizer is!

    Versatile undated planner
I love how decently sized this is. It’s big enough to track all the needs and activities of my family. The cover is beautiful. The pages have the same pretty floral motif throughout. It’s got an elastic to help keep the planner closed. It’s divided into sections in a way I haven’t seen in a planner but I think will work beautifully for my family. The first section is family information. There are spots to write down information about each family member, insurance information, vehicle information, friend and family contact info, a note page at the end of the section, and even passwords if you so wish. The second section is the monthly planning section. It’s divided into months with spots for goals, notes, a habit tracker, and a separate budget page and health and wellness page (for tracking doctor visits and other things like that, I presume) for each month. There is also a note page at the end of the section. The third section is the weekly planning section. It’s a two-page spread for the week starting Monday. Each day has a big spot for about half the length of the page and then the bottom is broken into sections for each member of the family for each day. I like that I can use each one to keep track of everyone’s comings and goings.Best of all, its undated so I can use it as I need to or not waste pages when we go out of town and don’t plan to use the planner.

Nice but I want months and weeks together
Get out your favorite pens, practice your penmanship, and make sure you have a reliable calendar to follow. Writing the info in this gave me the sweats. I was stressing about making mistakes the entire time. (I did make mistakes, unfortunately.) It only took me about 20 minutes to get it all set up though. The planner is nice quality. It’s heavy. The paper has a nice feel. There are 14 “month” pages, each with six rows provided so you never have to double up days. There are lines in the boxes, which I like better than an open box; it just seems neater. The attached ribbon is great to help you find the current date. My biggest beef is that the months are separated from the weeks. The months are all together, then the weeks are all together. Something in me wants it to be organized month/weeks, month/weeks. I do like the “habits and routines” checklists on the months pages. I can think of many uses for this, like cleaning, watering plants, etc. Many of the “family information” pages in the front I won’t use, however. It is important info that I do keep, but wouldn’t enter into a planner every year. Phone numbers? Those are all in my phone. Birthdays and anniversaries go right into the month calendar. Websites and passwords? There’s an app for that. You get the picture.
