How It All Started
A Simple Idea Born From Real Moments
On a trip for our anniversary, my wife and I became fixated on how much we enjoy great conversations with our family and friends, and yet how few of these genuine conversations we saw going on around us. It seemed that everywhere we looked, people were glued to their phones, and not interacting with the people right in front of them. So we decided we wanted to do something about it, and Chatbox was born!

My kids love this! And so do our neighbors kids😳
We ordered this game a month ago to find easy ways to engage our kids during dinner. We have three kids who range in age from 9-15 and they each have really enjoyed coming up with answers. We do about three cards per night so we will have months of play and now the kids want to take turns asking the questions. In fact a few of their friends who have joined us for dinner want to come back over to play again with all of us!The questions are general enough for the range of ages of my kids and allow some room to modify the questions on the fly to build out the conversations they start. It’s fun to have the kids explain their answers which is usually a silly response in our house😆. But it also fosters critical thinking in their minds. They look forward to the parents answers to each question as well and like to have us explain ourselves.I am a high school teacher who will be teaching a critical thinking class this year and I intend to use this game as an opener a few times per week to get my students thinking, defending their answers and having fun while learning. The box this come in has endured well considering the kids grab for it each day. And the quality of the cards will also last . Overall, this has been a welcomed change to our home and has made it easier for all of us to talk to each other.

Great way to connect with your kiddos
The questions are so intentional. My family loved each one and they were easy to read and answer ages 16-7. Love how they got us taking and off our phones. Super easy to travel with, I bring them everything my purse.

Make Conversations Great Again!
We were getting very tired of the redundant “How was your day?” conversation at dinner – especially with a young teenager that just likes to grunt or shrug his shoulders as an answer. We have had many wonderful, meaningful, funny and enlightening conversations with these cards! I’ve even learned things about my husband that I’ve known for over 20 years! And my son gets involved which I love 😁I shuffled them up so it’s a random category every day.

Fun way to learn more about family/friends!
Haven’t used it much yet, but the few cards we did use provided some great conversations!

Not a specific game with instructions, just card prompts.
We’ve seen a few games like this, and this one is well-designed and pretty fun. It’s a small cube that can sit in the middle of the counter or easily at a coffee table. There are a few different categories to choose from: Family Dynamics, About Me, Hopes & Dreams, Remember & Reflect, Random Fun. I didn’t really see any instructions, so we’ve just pulled any card we want for a little conversation starter. Everyone could answer the same question or everyone could answer different questions. Simple, thoughtful, and fun. Also kind of fun just for teens sitting around the table trying to think of something to do. Just start talking! Would make a great gift for most families.

Perfect size for travel
Love this so much. This is perfect to toss in a tote bag or travel bag. It would great to have on long car rides or those days where weather changes your vacation plans. I also love the idea of game night not always being about who beat who. Just a great idea!

Great for sparking Conversation
Used this game tonight with my kids at dinner and after, we really enjoyed the cards and they were very interesting conversation starters, even with my younger kids. The cards sparked in depth discussion and it was awesome to not be on a screen and enjoying family time. I absolutely would recommend for anyone that wants to spend time with family or friends, and not staring at a screen.

Great for Long Trips
I hate my kids stuck on screens and generally don’t allow them on car rides. This is a great way to pass the time and fellowship as a family. 10/10 recommend!
