Prints great — consistent, strong, and looks nice. Feeds smoothly with minimal tangles and sticks well to PEI or glass (I run a 60°C bed). I get best results around 240°C with a little retraction to cut stringing. Good value for functional black PETG.

Nice Strong Filament that Prints Highly Accurate and Precise Pieces
Am new to 3D printing and I find this filament excellent. Compared to PLA it is very strong and far less brittle. Top surfaces also finish more finely with the same (.04 mm) nozzle as compared to PLA.Am using a Bambu A1 which now has filament profiles for this an other Sunlu filaments. As an experiment, I printed a small yet detailed small part using both “generic PETG” and “Sunlu PETG” filament presets. In my opinion, the Sunlu preset resulted in a more finely finished product.Print time [seems] to increase by about a third compared to PLA. It adheres very strongly to a textured plate even after it has cooled.My first pieces using this filament are an interlocking and adjustable assembly of my own design. I had to adjust tolerances slightly compared to PLA due to improved dimensional accuracy of the finished product.Addendum:While perhaps a general PETG problem in an open frame machine I find it impossible for use in a multi-color object of even modest size with a wipe tower because the color switch time is so long that the layers do not adhere and you wind up with a fragile slinky around an unconnected core. My results without the wipe tower and adjustments to produce the quickest possible filament change produced a very strong, 100% infill object but the deeply embedded 0.8 mm thick transparent yellow adjustment hash lines in an otherwise black piece were not clear enough to justify the wildly increased production time.

Great Filament Dryer — Noticeable Difference in Prints
I bought the SUNLU S1 Plus a few weeks ago, and it’s already made a big difference. My prints are smoother, with less stringing and no more popping from moisture. It’s easy to use, quiet, and holds temp steady. The only critique is need some detail when figuring out how to see the humidity and using buttons. Solid build, use it for drying desiccant refreshing too. Definitely worth it.

Good for cheap prototyping
Stuff prints pretty well, but you can tell its cheap. It prints 20c lower than other petg and also softens at 68c (from its TDS) instead of most other petg at 78c (polymaker). The Grey is also low on pigment as its more smokey and translucent. Its also brittle and kinda shatters when pulled instead of other petgs that stretch and yield. With the refills being ~$9/kg when buying a 4pk, its fine stuff for prototyping and printing something that just needs to exist.

filament jamming on spool
worst i’ve used it still strings, but true not as much as some others. The spool is wrapped in such a way the filament it twisted up back under it self and you can hear it straining to peel it off the spool actually had a mess up in middle of test print where it was jammed so tight in edges of spoil the gear drive could not pull and feed it and the gears actuall chewed into the filament does it again and i am going to send the whole box of 4 back for refund and go back to other brands ive used. and i actually have a spoil holder the spoil is head perfectly center on two bearing mounted cones so it not a jerky feed like you get from a spoil just loaded on a shaft so issues are 100% the way their machine tightened the filament on the spoil causeing it to wrap over itselfupdate wound way too tight this stuff is pure junk as you can see my spool hold is free wheel so it wont cause bind or jerking of filament, this stuff is horrid i wasted a large amount from spool to test print 220 all the way to 260 adhesion is moderate as long as it doent bind last two to are pieces i just wasted 20 hr of printing 240c nozzle 60 bed temp 30mm’s, this stuff isnt even worth respoiling it for the amount of time to respoool then dry it again. and i’m not paying to ship it back so they can do 2 things refund my money and sens a call ticket for pic up or just refund the money which seeing the time i spent drying it which i did see humidity level in dryier went up as soon as went to dry this so there was moisture trapped in the filament plus baby sitting it until i decided to grab some sleep last night and the lost time printing with the cost of the electricity consumed to print. i might be abkle to cut sections of a few meters off tese spoil to use for test printing to check level of beds and make little trinkets but other then that not worth the time.added one more photo this is what deal with due to this so tight wrapped on spool that is a hard creased kink in the filament
