I ordered another set for myself
I ordered this for my sister’s birthday. While wrapping the set I decided to buy another for myself since I was literally swooning over them. I got her the yellow gold and myself silver. They are super sharp and I love the design of them.Update: I ordered the silver but am a little disappointed in the color. Instead of shiny silver they look more like gunmetal and rather dull. The yellow gold were much prettier.Update a couple of weeks later…at first I was disappointed in the antique look of them but now am very happy with it. They look old (in a good way) and fit in with all my antiques. Highly recommend.

Great for embroidery. I also use when doing small things when doing crafts. They are very sharp. The fancy handle is not necessarily my favorite for comfort in use. But the scissors works very well.

Pretty, inexpensive, functional
This is a very pretty gift set. The scissors seem to be decent quality, the ends are nice and sharp, they line up nice and flat ensuring a clean cut, and are a nice weight. They are a little stiff, not a smooth glide, but I’m hoping that clears up with some use. I like that the thimble is adjustable, as I have very tiny hands and others are always uncomfortable and fall off.
