Quirky little book, more of a journal than scrapbook + lovely decorative papers & stickers…
This is a charming mini-scrapbook/journal. The book itself is quite small and is not really what I would think of as a scrapbook which usually has thick, heavy pages suitable for photos, letters, cards, mementos and such as well as space for adding decorations. This book is hard-covered (the covers are very thin cardboard, but they look nice) with a dust jacket made of thick paper featuring a (mostly) vintage design — there are a few modern elements interspersed here and there, which is true of the entire collection. One example: the front cover features fancy Asian text in gold, but also has the word ‘enjoy’ highlighted in red in one corner. The book is light-weight and is about the size of a notecard, and it does have a lot of pages, but they are grid-ruled, which makes this great for a simple journal. The first and last page are thicker, solid colored paper and the remixing pages are a good weight and feel durable. Most gel-pens and light markers won’t bleed through. The best part of the kit is really all of the little notecards, envelopes, stickers and decorative papers of all different types and sizes + a tiny roll of tape. I especially like the lovely images on thin, translucent paper that is reminiscent of onion skin. I chose the mushroom version and almost all of the colorful images appear to be what I would expect to find in an illustrated antique botanic textbook with some hard to decipher notes on classification and identification. There are a few anomalies, such as a few more modern images of mushrooms and some butterflies, even a cartoonish Easter bunny or two, but they are shown in the “what’s included” picture in the product description (a good way to know exactly what will be received).Overall, I’m quite happy with this quirky set and I’m happy to have found it. The book itself is cute although not really anything special, but I think all of the ‘accessories’ make the kit worth purchasing. Just be sure to check the dimensions of the journal first as it is very small…

Super Cute Craft Kit
This is a super cute scrapbook kit. I love doing journals decorating pages, creating surprise little touches and tucking in an envelope with a few surprise stickers etc. This kit came with lots of stickers, extra decorative paper for designing pages, a small amount of decorative tape, two envelopes matching the theme and so much more. It contains everything you need with the exception of two-way tape, foam dots, or glue, as well as you will need scissors. The book is really nice it’s a little smaller than I anticipated but I am sure that once it’s created it will make a lovely gift for someone to use as perhaps a gratitude journal, address book, dream journal or anything someone’s heart desires in something beautifully decorated and easy to tuck away. It’s all contained in a really nice box that makes it easy to tuck into a suitcase as a take along art project for summer vacation. This would be an excellent gift for a crafter as well. Looking forward to working on this!

This is a very high quality kit!
I make handmade journals with lots of elements, and I normally wouldn’t touch offerings like this, but this one looked like it had potential, and I loved the theme.Wow, I am impressed! This is an absolutely beautiful collection, and the journal itself is really nice. The graph paper pages are very popular, and make for great writing AND art journaling. The selection of papers, both in design and texture, is excellent. Nice variety of types of stickers, though I rarely use those myself.This kit could please not just pre-adolescents, but teens and adults. In fact, while I thought of this as something that I could use parts of (I honestly thought the journal itself would be useless, but it is quite nice), I can’t bear to tear such a perfect kit apart.Lastly, I think they priced this very generously. If I didn’t already have a gazillion supplies for making journals already, I would seriously buy more of these as gifts.
