Excellent filament, great color for Christmas trees
This filament worked great for a Christmas project making Christmas tree decorations for family and friends. The color looked really good and I was able to speed up the printing with no apparent loss in adhesion or looks. I ended up going through about 5 rolls of this filament and was please with it, almost the entire time.I did have a a brief, small issue in one section on a couple of rolls but it seemed to work itself out. I don’t know if I hadn’t properly cleaned my build plate or if there was a discrepancy in the filament but everything else was smooth and I was happy with the output. I initially thought it was the filament but started cleaning my build plate with soap and water more frequently and didn’t have the problem anymore so it might have been my fault. Going through five rolls, most of that set on a higher speed, with only two small hiccups seemed like a pretty good track record.

Great colors
I never tried HP3DF filament before, but I really liked this color.I have an Elegoo Centauri Carbon, and I had to find the right settings for this filament. I had some issues with bed adhesion at default settings for PLA silk, so I created a custom filament just for this.I have found the best results with the top lid off, door closed:min nozzle temp=190 max=230Flow ratio 95 (at higher flow, I was getting blobs and adhesion issues)1st layer temp=215 other layers =220Plate temp 1st layer=60 other layers=50Everything else I kept at default. After I got the settings dialed in, I am really happy with the color and the prints it creates.

Good quality, fair color
It’s pretty, but you shouldn’t expect a deep or crimson red. It’s sort of like an offbrand version of a red crayon, with a hint of orange. But still, it’s pretty.Prints okay on my BambuLabs P1S. Beautiful sheen.

Silk Copper is brittle but looks fantastic, Glow Blue actually Glows!
*Shiny Silk Copper, Updated review after more usage. The seller offered refund / replacement. I decided to keep the copper and play with it more since I had a new spool on the way to replace the spool I was previously without. This stuff truly does look amazing and this is the third of similar color / type I have tried with this being the best in the looks category. Its a shame it won’t print smaller objects reliably, and I have tried and tried again, but when doing something thicker and larger, or anything that doesn’t have a circumference of less than about 9mm, this stuff works fine.*Glow-in-the-Dark BlueI was sent a blue glow-in-the-dark filament, and I can already tell you it’s better than the Amolen brand Glow Filaments. Out of the Amolen 4-pack consisting of Glow (Green, Light Blue, Dark Blue and Multi-Glow), pretty much only Green worked.*Previous Review,First print didn’t make it off the build plate.Tried again a few more times after leaving in my Sunlu filament dryer, the filament was more pliable, but it didn’t help.Increased wall count to 4Increased infill to 25%Upped heat to 215Same result, didn’t even make it off the platformShame, it looks amazing

Deep color of green with shinyness. Shinyness looks spelled wrong.
This pla is the shiny version of pla. It looks fantastic but it is a bit more difficult to work with. It has a temperature variance from the other matte colored pla that needs to be experimented with to find out the optimal parameters. I’m using it with a 3d pen and it requires a different etiquette to extrude. I’m still working on it, but I have been using the lower temp settings of around 130 – 150. The pla seems to coagulate a bit when using higher temps on a pen; an issue I didn’t encounter on a 3d printer using another ‘shiny’ pla, fourish years ago.I think the color is so good that is worth the added difficulties.5 stars Will purchase again.

Printed Beautifully on my BambuLab A1 and X1C printers!
The HP3DF Copper printrd beautifully using both my A1 and X1C printers. I will be ordering more filament from this company soon! Had to set as “Generic” Silk presets in Bambu Studio and upped the bed temp to 65, everything else stayed the same.

Best silk green PLA filament
Very nice green color. It sticks to the build sheet. The filament never clogs. Best silk color. No stringing if using a filament dryer. The quality is the best for the price point. It has a nice texture on the end product. It’s the same size as its competitors, like sunlu and others out there

Works great in Bambu X1C. Got a tip on Reddit for print settings for this wood PLA; set the max temp to ten degrees higher than what the pla recommends. Set the volumetric rate to 7. Then I also had by first layer print (on the textured PEI sheet) set to 70. And then it prints like any other filament!
