Excellent for the price and expectations
So far, so good. I’ve never printed with TPU, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Using genetic settings on a bambu lab P1S and running from the spool on the back of the machine, I got a couple of prints to come out near perfect on the first try. I tried horizontal and vertical prints to see if it had stringing or layer separation. The vertical setup worked great. The horizontal, not quite as good (to be expected since TPU isn’t good at spanning gaps without support). I tried with supports and it worked better, but still not quite as good as vertical prints. The material itself is the consistency of twizzler licorice and only hardens a little more than that after printing. You have to be patient feeding into the printer because it’s kind of floppy, but eventually picks it up just fine. The print color and consistency is pretty good and it’s surprisingly strong and resilient. I’m very happy with how this stuff turned out and the price is really good.In the pictures, I have the original part I was replicating, the horizontally printed copy, and then the vertically printed copy. In the list couple of pictures, you might be able to see some of the layer stringing in the hirizontal pocket. In the vertical print, I had supports added and then removed after printing. Keep in mind, the color will be a lot more red. The pictures are kind of saturated a bit and it looks more pink in appearance.

    Quite Firm
Printed well for me. It does feel quite firm. I did think it would have been softer but I’m very happy with it. It’s the only TPU I’ve printed with.

    E steps 93 / speed 30 mm/s
Prints well on my Creality 3 pro. e steps at 93 and speed at 30 mm/s works well for me with no clogging. 100 on the exhaust steps and it jams after about 10 minutes.

    Formulation might have changed
This is the first TPU that I have used and it prints really well with the right settings. I started at the midrange of print and bed temperatures listed on the spool. Results weren’t great so I went by settings that other reviewers used. Prints were even worse. Going up to 240 C print and 40 C bed temperatures (cooling fan off) did the trick. It seems the formulation may have changed recently. Still a good filament.

    Pleasant surprise
Very impressed with this TPU. Printed a very intricate clip with a lot of geometry on a Bambu A1 on a textured PEI plate with 0 plate and 220 nozzle temp. and it printed perfectly the first time. Feels like about a 95A shore hardness tough yet flexible. Would definately buy again.

Box doesn’t tell you what the actual flavor of TPU this is…
Product does not tell you on the box what type of filament it is… no idea if it’s 85A, 90A or 95A!It would be awesome if the stuff could work in my printer, but given the fact that there is nothing about it in the The box we’re on the box. It’s kind of useless.I pretty much feel like I wasted my money.

  8. Sonofisrael

    Best tpu filament I’ve tried
This prints beautifully from my tronxy gemini xs. It’s a fussy printer, it’s got bowden tubes, it printed this without a hitch, and was still printing a day and a half later without drying.

    Great filament for the price

I was worried about using TPU initially, but I decided to try it out on a cheap roll (it was on sale!).I had an issue loading the filament at first, but it was my fault (filament type was set to PETG on load). After tweaking this, I used the ‘Generic TPU’ profile, ran calibrations and that’s it.Squishy benchy and many rings/gaskets later, I can say that I like this TPU filament :)I don’t use glue sticks or liquid – Textured PEI plate. It sticks very well… almost too well (difficult to remove)
