    Easy to use
I like these. Ink goes on it great. So easy to peel from the back. Can cut with scissors if I want what is nice. Heats up and sticks to shirt great. Doesn’t fade in wash. Shirts look like they are printed from a store. I wash in cold and tumble dry inside out. And still looks great weeks later. No fade. Not even coming off a little. My son uses this more for his projects then I do but that’s okay. Very durable and great quality.

Works great but a little tricky to use at first
I had several images that I wanted to transfer to shirts but did not want to go about the more expensive process of doing this, so when I saw this heat transfer paper, I figured it was worth a try. The directions state to print on the more white side of the paper, however, due to poor lighting in my apartment, I printed two images on the wrong side of the paper and those sheets were wasted. Luckily, I found a trick to determine which side to print on (gently lift a corner of the iron on transfer and the more flexible side is the side to be printed on. Due to this, I would suggest that the company print something on the wrong side or otherwise make it more obvious which side is which. Once I past this hicup, the iron on transfer was easy to use. I placed it face down in my printer, printed in photo mode and allowed to dry for a bit (I let it dry overnight but this length of time was not necessary). After it was dry, I cut the image out using a paper cutter and then peeled off the backing, measured the area to apply it and then covered with the included parchment paper. After that, I used my standard iron to apply the design, applying heat for about 20 to 30 seconds across the whole image. The actual transfer material is thick and adhered well, and I have had no problems with corners lifting or anything. So far the material feels durable and the colors printed very vibrantly, so the shirts I made look great! I washed one of the shirts I made inside out in cold water and forgot that I should not put it in the dryer, and it still came out looking great, despite being in the dryer for an hour on permanent press. While you may be able to find similar products at a cheaper price, the quality of this product justifies the price.

Super easy to use and images print crisp and vivid. Easy to heat press!
My design turned out really cute! I designed and printed from my Cricut Design Space. After I printed I decided I did not want to cut out each image so I trimmed around the printed cut edges to get rid of the cut mark lines. The white really stands out on the black shirts. The material was really easy to use. I like that I don’t have to mirror the image because I have forgotten to do that. After printing and cutting your image to size you peel off the back and iron onto your material. I used 100% cotton shirts from a craft store. The image ironed on well using a Cricut Heat Press. I have not washed these shirts yet but the instructions say wash inside out and cold water.

Does not work with my inkjet printer
Despite saying on the package that these work with inkjet printers, they have not been working with mine. Color images start to turn out fine but smear horribly. Black ink pools up and drips down the rest of the page. Despite trying many settings on my printer, I couldn’t get this to work! I have a top-loading Canon PIXMA G3270. I’ve used it for other projects from stickers to printable vinyl to custom playing cards on textured card paper. If the manufacturer has any recommendations for getting this to work, please let me know! I really wanted to like this iron-on paper.Sadly, since I couldn’t get it to print, I wasn’t able to test the iron on, durability, or quality otherwise.

It’s a little stiff but works well
So, this isn’t as pliable as sublimation of course but compared to the old printable iron-ons, I really like it.I used it as a print and cut in the Cricut and it worked perfectly. I used my t-shirt press with the instructions and had no issues getting it on the shirt. It looks really good and is holding up. I don’t think you need any of the “pro” tools like the Cricut and press to use this which is a huge plus. It was a little difficult to get off of the backing.Overall, it’s easy and I think most people could do it at home but I do think it’s a bit in the higher price range for similar items that work just as well.

  6. Starr Trekker

    Easy peasy
So far, so good. I wanted to do some heat transfer designs on dark colors, and didn’t know that I could do that with an ink jet printer until I saw this product. (I do sublimation for light colors.) It looks easy enough to do, but the instructions that come with the paper, although helpful to a degree, are not as helpful as the video on their amazon page. The paper has a clear layer and a paper layer. You have to make sure you print on the correct side in order to adhere it to fabric. Two sheets of parchment paper are included, but they are more like tissue paper. I will be using my own paper and a heat press. They provide heat press settings in the instructions, which is great. I have not yet made anything with this yet – I want to have it on hand when the inspiration hits me. Based on the look and feel of the paper, and being able to use an ink jet printer, I feel that I am going to have lots of fun using the transfer paper to put fun designs on my t-shirts.

  7. Fae

    a bit plasticky feeling
It worked well on “Dark” gray and black.I found the material of the iron to feel a little plasticy, like it may not last very long when washed. The initial colours were clean and crisp when printed, and transferring to a shirt was easy. I have a t-shirt heat press that I followed the heat instructions in the guide on the listing for time and temp, and had no issues.

    Just as described
Item is just as described. The material seems to be good quality and for the price, it’s cheaper than purchasing it at a box store. Overall, for the price I believe this will be a good purchase. As soon as we’re able to use it, I will update with pictures of it on an actual shirt.
