very fast and accurate resin
This is so far the best resin I found for making micro-patters.The blue color assures shallow penetration depths and at short exposures if makes for very fine details.Layer heights of 0.02mm are repeatable at exposure times <2s .

The packaging for these is SUPER clear on the outside of the cardboard, AND the bottle, which as a high volume print maker is really helpful. The plastic sleeves are notched to open with only gloved hands (still wish we could have a tab on the foil, but nobody does that yet) and the resin itself is SUPER opaque, really vivid even in the thin sections! So many colored resins are clear or translucent, these are a breath of fresh air. Every one I’ve tried is really heavy with pigment, even the black which is really hard to do right. The only other company to ever do colors right was rich-opto, but they’re sadly out of business now. This is my new go-to resin for colors.

It has an issue with detail
. I have a Elgoo Mars 3 I had to up the supports level and add .4 seconds to each layer to get better results. But it still has issues with fine details

Good quality resin
No major complaints. I used this resin to print some DND minis and it went well. I ended up setting it to 3 second cure time and 35 second first layer curing on my GK2 printer. It cleaned up nicely and seemed dimensionally accurate

Dark Black Matte High-Quality Pro Resin
Hatchbox is a really great brand, and this photopolymer resin continues to deliver on the promises that I would expect from them.The 1000g (1kg) canister seemed well-protected in the packging. The resin still has a mild odor, but not as strong as others. You have to mix the resin before using, and this resin seemed to have only a few bubbles after mixing, and poured nice and smooth into the reservoir.The resulting print is matte black. It was a little surprising to me how dark and beautiful it was. Most resins have a little sheen to them, and this is really nice matte black.This is an excellent resin, I’m enjoying showing the results!

Solid but finicky
I was looking for a solid yellow for a friends project when I found this resin on sale. I grabbed the blue to experiment with settings. Overall it does the job well but seems to be temperamental.Pros: solid resin when printed from recommended setting. You will have to adjust for your printer like any other resin, but the recommended settings are a great start point. Detail was sharp and layer lines were minimal to non existent.Cons: clean up was a nightmare. This resin required it’s own clean bucket as it left a slight film the would overlay like a sealant. And that was with several different cleaners. Multiple washes were also required. As well as an extra long cure time.All said when used with care this can be a wonderfully detailed resin. But it requires an experienced hand and a lot of patience. I would not recommend for any beginners.

A solid resin that printed true to its advertised settings.
The packaging was spot on. Good bottle support (top and bottom) and also vacuum sealed in the event there’s a breach in the bottle. Mine came in perfect condition.I didn’t think the odor was very bad on this at all. I’d say it’s darn near comparable to some of the other ‘eco’ resins out there that claim water washable. Good job on this part, especially for those sensitive to the smells!I picked the green color, and I really like the matte finish on the pigment. I’m likely going to drop the exposure time down a little bit as the advertised settings did indeed give me a print without issues, but I feel the exposure is too much.Resin is ‘tough’ and supports definitely take some clipping (they don’t just melt off), especially if you’re using middle or heavy support types.This was printed on a Anycubic Mono X with the ‘low end’ of all their settings ranges advertised on their site, via the QR code.They have a slew of colors and as I said, I really dig the matte finish.Given that there isn’t much ‘new’ here in resin, they have to distinguish themselves somehow. That’s either cost, durability or color. I would say the color difference isn’t enough to warrant being ‘the unique resin to have’, so a gentle balance of 2 of those 3 might be needed in order to make this my go-to resin.I would probably buy another color in the future, given this experience, especially if I could find a sale on it.
