Best filament I ever used …….
This was my first time with any tri-color filament. I saw this Tri-red Blue Yellow Pla and had to try it, and not sorry I did. I’ve been printing for 10 years and have a lot of filament, but I have never had one this good looking, and I think it is the easiest and best to print with. I will definitely be trying some more GIANTARM filament.

Hard to work with
The silver metallic silk filament looks absolutely beautiful when it comes out right, but is very difficult to work with. You have to slow the print way down, lower fan speed and increase nozzle temperature. I’m printing at 235 degrees.Even when you do everything right it’s prone to clogging and is not as strong as typical PLA. Every imperfection is very noticeable on silk PLA. It’s good for certain statues and figurines, but I would not use it for anything that requires any strength at all.Honestly I don’t think I’d buy it again, not because of the brand, but because of how weak all metallic silk PLA tends to be. It’s not beginner friendly.

Gorgeous color, great texture
Nice silky PLA. Printed Zelda based Hyrulian Shield with this color and it came out beautifully. No issues on Bambu x1c, no clogging, stringing, smell that I noticed. It doesn’t super glue like other PLA. Takes half a day for super glue to set, whereas other PLAs (matte) glue in seconds. Used the generic silk PLA setting on Bambu x1c.

Ich hatte erst erhebliche Probleme beim Druck mit dem Giantarm PETG mit den Standardeinstellungen vom Ender 3 v3 SE (215°C nozzle, 70°C bed). Gab nur Spaghetti, keine Haftung.Habe mich dann lange informiert und eine leichte Erhöhung der Temperaturen hat dann schon gereicht, dass die Haftung ordentlich passt. Bei 240°C nozzle / 80°C bed haftet der Druck wunderbar und ich konnte auch schon größere Strukturen drucken. Stringing ist leicht vorhanden, wie man beim benchy sieht hält sich das aber im Rahmen. Alles in Ordnung also, ich hatte jedoch schon bessere Erfahrungen mit dem Druck mit günstigerem PETG, daher gibt’s 4 Sterne.

Si bien cumple su cometido, cabe destacar que el artículo no es idéntico a la imagen, el filamento recibido no posee el mismo brillo, sin embargo es excelente para la relación calidad-precio.

Ich bin begeistert von dem Material. Habe meine ersten Versuche mit TPU gemacht. Ein bischen an die Temperaturen herangetastet und jetzt bin ich einfach begeistert von dem Material. Es ist sehr widerstandfähig und flexibel zugleich.Nach dem ersten Test eines Kabelbinders. Werde ich mich jetzt noch an Staubsaugeradapter wagen.
