Nice little books but dents took a star off
These are very nice. Unfortunately both of these had dents in the cover & paper.The color of the covers is nice light olive green.Other than the dents, these are a nice size.

Much nicer than expected!
Honestly, I did not expect much from these watercolor journals, especially because they were so reasonably priced, but I’m a sucker for an art journal so I took the leap. The paper is very nice quality, doesn’t buckle out of control when wet, and you really can paint on both sides of each sheet. The fact that they lay flat when open is nice and makes it easy to paint across two pages if you want. The finish is very smooth, like hot-press watercolor paper, which I like, but if you’re looking for a paper with some “tooth”, this isn’t for you. Otherwise, I highly recommend these and I will definitely be purchasing them again.

Exactly What I Needed for My Watercolor Lessons
I absolutely love this watercolor book! The paper is thicker than what I’ve used in other small pads, and it doesn’t warp as easily — even with wetter layers. The size is perfect for following along with the tutorial I’m doing on painting fruits, vegetables, and snacks. It’s compact but gives enough room to work comfortably. I’ll definitely be repurchasing this two-pack when I run out.
