Works for Hoover Spotless cleaner
I was able to use this kit to replace the hoses on my Hoover Spotless cleaner. The hose diameter and ends match exactly. You need to drill out the two catches on the old hose that keep it attached to the piece where the hand piece plugs in. The video shows the replacement for the newer model but it gives a good idea of how to replace the hose on the Spotless. Application of some heat to the plastic ends make them more pliable. It is a good excuse to get a mini heat gun.

Works great for models that can’t use the OEM version
This product worked perfectly. It is the right solution if your unit does not have 4 screws attaching the hose assembly to the base. Do not rely on the model number list. Apparently “they” changed the design at some point but did not change the model numbers. The hose is a bit longer than the original, which is nice. The kit includes the spring and clip for attaching the inner solution hose as well as a new O-ring. The solution hose must be trimmed to size, but better too long than too short. The installation process is pretty involved (lots of screws) but not difficult. Watch the provided video first, then do it.

Wonderful product
I’m so happy I could replace my hose on my Hoover. It’s a bit longer I couldn’t be happier.

Buy the hose assembly not just the hose
Buy the hose and housing pre-assembled. I bought just the hose and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get it release from the housing and the vacuum head. If you buy the whole assembly you just need to remove 4 screws and be done with it. Look at the plastic detent buttons on the vacuum head and you will quickly realize how hard it is to push both the top and bottom buttons simultaneously to release. The instruction video for the clean slate makes it look easy with just the screws on the housing assembly. Do that instead of buying just the hose. I’m returning this for the assembly.

not really all that “XL”
I know it says so in the description that its only a few inches longer than the OEM hose, but they hype it like its a mile long. Yes, technically its longer, but You’re not going to notice the difference really. Hopefully it holds up longer the the OEM hose… time will tell.
