Excellent value and super high quality!!! Easy and fun to use and setup!
I was so excited to try 3d printing with me and my son, and daughter. I was looking for something to inspire some ingenuity, creativity, and problem solving, and with that a 3d printer sounded like a great project/hobby, boy was I right! Kids and wife all LOVE IT! I initially was looking for a printer that had great quality prints, and a short learning curve since we haven’t tried this before… this printer did not disappoint!!! It is easy to use and setup out of the box. The instructions are a little sparse but a couple YouTube videos and you will be well on your way. This was self leveling and didn’t require much effort to get going. Simple enough that with some guidance my pre-teen helped with the whole thing. I was impressed by the short learning curve of the software even though it is initially a little intimidating (just watch a couple YouTube videos and you will feel great) and ability to start printing right away. It prints beautifully and is much quieter and quicker than I expected. The features of this compared to many other great printers out there but at a huge value! If you are thinking of 3d printing look no further and buy this one, you will not be disappointed!

Very nice!
Sold my anycubic kobra 2 neo for this because of the enclosure option. Does a great job and the slicer and wireless printing is great!

Incredible!
Update 6/12/24After some moderate use I started running into nothing but problems and failed prints. My printer loses power randomly, the axis will grind as if it’s misaligned, and now my extruder stops working intermittently and skips layers causing a massive waste of filament. I have been chatting back and forth with support from flashforge for weeks and keep getting met with suggestions on restarting the printer, updating, and cleaning the bed which has nothing to do with the issues, even after I tried their suggestions. Completely frustrating for the amount of money I spent.I started off with the very first version of the Ender 3 several years ago and loved it, but it was definitely time for an upgrade. After some research and wanting an enclosed printer, I decided upon this one. I did hear some negative reviews on YouTube mostly because of the specific slicer and or software you have to use for this printer, but it’s honestly not a big deal at all. It 3D prints things, and that’s all you really need it for. The build quality is excellent and was very well packaged. My shipping box was a bit damaged but the printer was protected with the foam. Setup was easy, although it did take a bit longer than the advertised 10 minutes with calibration, it was still a breeze. Being used to the slower Ender 3, this thing made me flinch when it started to print because it was ridiculously fast. I’m baffled at how it could print so well with such speeds. The print quality is stunning. I’ve used cheap PLA, the included PLA, and TPU, with amazing results. I’d highly recommend this printer to anyone. Great buy!

FLASHFORGE printer
This is worth every penny. It woks great and with a computer and a little time spent learning a few programs that are free you can make any plastic thing you want.

Great print quality bad connectivity
As much as I would love to say this printer if great I just cannot. It’s fast, it’s clean, it prints are amazing quality. The problems come in to connectivity to WiFi and to Orca. The camera quality after you do the upgrade and there is no button on the HMI for turning on and off the light.1. WiFi, It doesn’t seem to be a direct WiFi connection issue as the printer can always be found on my router. It’s more of an Orca/Flashforge issue. I’m using the orca that is made for Flashforge and sometimes I can find the printer but most times it just says it’s offline.2. Camera, I purchased the camera kit for the printer and it’s a slow pixelated view when and if it even connects. It’s a great option to have but this one is not very usable. My Elegoo is far superior and most say it’s even bad.3. Light, ok so I purchased the light kit and 3d printed the housing they have for it but on this printer the print head hits the housing. I was able to make some brackets with magnets in it to hold the light and it works. Problem is Flashforge needs to do a firmware update to add a button on the HMI to turn on and off the light. It would not be terrible to have to use the app to do it if there were not connectivity issues.I will say it prints great and if you don’t care about wireless connectivity this thing is gold for the price.

Great! dependable and affordable.
I love it. I feel like I got the jackpot with this guy is been 6 months since I’ve had it and I’ve probably gone thru 15 spools of filament. I’ve made sure to clean it grease it and keep it calibrated the frame is plenty sturdy, I do recommend printing an enclosure or walls for it, if anything to keep the temps consistent. I did mess up the hot end because I thought it was like my taz6 and tried to unscrew it, but I called customer support and they sent me 2 new ones no questions asked. I can’t say if that’s standard procedure. I was really surprised they did that. But it still proud just as well as day 1. I’ve used it with several different brands of PLA and PETG and they both work great.I haven’t had any clogging at all. But it does come with a tool just in case. Easy to calibrate easy to connect in fact you’ve got several options to connect it’s own hot spot, Wi-Fi connection ip address or removable media. And the flash forge software works just fine for me. I love this printer and would recommend if you’re looking for something dependable and affordable.

Great Printer, and I’m a complete noob!
I absolutely love this printer! It was easy to setup and great value! I use OrcaSlicer, bought a camera, added LED lighting, flashed it with KlipperMod (for remote control), and made my own custom enclosure. I already use Bed Leveling at start for perfect first layers. Never have WiFi issues. It is a bit loud, but the enclosure helps a ton! I also create multi-colored items by doing manual filament changes.

Ordered on November 4th and arrived on December 23rd to Singapore. The printer is fast, got it for quite a good price in comparison to other places I find.Pros- Super Fast- Easy Calibration- Enclosure is a important for certain filaments like ABS- Build feels solid- Door is acrylic and not tempered glass ( good for me because I know I wont break the door by accident)- Extra nozzle with harder tip is provided- The 0.25kg PLA filament provided is really prettyCons- The delivery I got for this printer took me more than a month to SIngapore with lots of CS chat and phone calls.- Printer is loud but can be tuned to go slower and quieter.. maybe like 500mm/s acceleration- Filament can’t retract. If you are changing from ABS filament to PLA, please purge with high temps even when loading in the PLA filament- Inconvenient to cut the filament from tool head but you can DIY yourself a filament cutter- Heard the slicers are crap and it’s recommended to use the original Orca Slicer which I am. Will recommend- Loading the filament through the tube is at the back.. if you keep your printer in the shelf, it’s troublesome- Filament holder is also at the back.. find a filament spool holder that lets you use it on the side- I can’t figure out where the belt tensioning is- I can’t do auto bed levelling at every print even by changing the Machine Start G-Code unless using a modified klipper which I don’t want to as the printer is stable as it is

I have had a FLashforge Adventure 5M for around a year now, and in my opinion it is one of if not the best value FDM printer on the market.I use it mainly for printing scenery for wargaming or model railways and this machine does an excellent job, producing fantastic results time after time.Used with the vanilla Orca slicer prints can be sent wirelessly without any hassle as long as the machine is on the same network.Although I have had a couple of times where during a large complex print the machine has frozen mid print wasting both time and filament. Possibly due to gcode file getting corrupted during transfer who knows.I swapped the supplied bed plate for a smooth pei plate and have had no issues with bed adhesion, just remember to give it a wipe every once in a while with IPA to remove greasy fingerprints. The metal chassis is sturdy and well assembled, be careful how you handle the machine though as it is possible to twist the chassis out of square. Also its worth checking the screws for tightness during periodic maintenance. The machine gets up to temperature quickly, the fans are a little on the noisy side but generally the machine noise blends into the background. The factory location of the spool holder on the back is not ideal if you want to site your printer with its back to a wall, I would suggest your first print is a top mounted spool holder. The touch screen is a touch small for those blessed with sausage fingers, but it offers easy to use controls for filament change, print selection, and various settings.

Consigliata!
