Good affordable entry into 3D printing!
This is a great printer for first time 3D printer users. This one actually wasn’t my first, but I can say this printer is far easier to use than the Ender 3 I started with years ago. It’s coreXY, prints pretty fast, and is easy to calibrate and use. No manual bed leveling. That’s all automatic and also has input shaping and temperature calibration which is really very good for a printer in this price range. The nozzles are easily interchangeable, they just snap out. Some people may be turned off by the fact that the nozzle cartridges are proprietary, but they aren’t very expensive. They’re actually the nozzle and hot end in one assembly. So every time you swap the cartridge you get a new hot end too. I have yet to have to replace one after months of use, but I bought extras so that I can use a different nozzle for each filament type. I have printed PLA, PETG, ABS, and ASA with this printer. It can in theory print Nylon (PA) and Polycarbonate (PC) but those may be more difficult to use in this printer because it does not have a heated chamber. Even so, since it is enclosed the bed will heat the chamber via convection so it’s worth a shot. Either way, for the price this printer does so much more than I expected. Support is also decent. It is based in China and so they may take a day to respond but they do respond, and they quickly sent me a replacement part without hassle when I needed it. Is the printer perfect? No, but it’s probably the best you’ll get for the price, and I am very satisfied with it. I would buy another one in a heartbeat, and in fact I’m looking into buying their multicolor printer next, the AD5X. Unbeatable value, and I highly recommend!

Easy to figure out and use.
I haven’t personally used a 3D printer in almost a decade, and it’s amazing how far technology has come. This was easy to set up. I opened the box and had everything working within an hour. In hour 2 I had researched how to download files, slice them using Orca Slicer and exporting them for this printer. I started at 9:30 PM and started my first print by 11:15 pm. It took about an hour, but I was asleep by then, but I woke up to my first print all done. The quality was great. This morning my 4 year old wanted a fidget toy, and it took my literally 5 minutes to find a fidget toy, download it off thingiverse, slice it, and upload it to the printer. It has kept him distracted watching it for an hour while I work! The automatic bed leveling is great! There is noise from the printer, but it’s not louder than I would have expected. Kind of background noise more than anything.I’m very happy so far with my Flashforge.

Best Birthday Present Ever!
I gave this 3D printer to myself for my birthday. I like the idea that the printer is designed to be used inside my home instead of in the garage. I don’t notice any overwhelming smell. The printer was easy to setup. I did find that I needed to pay attention to the Quick Start Guide especially when it came to “binding” the printer to my FlashForge account. I assume binding means to do product registration. (I think that I am one of those guys who just looks at the pictures before actually reading the instructions). It never was clear to me which print platform or build plate came with the printer. I assumed that it was a textured platform. I needed the platform information was needed during set up,I am wondering about the durability of the touch screen. I had to poke it a few times to get it to respond. Generally, it works well.I connected my computer to printer via Wi-Fi. I had to fuss with it a bit. I believe my trouble had to do with making sure the right version of the firmware was installed on the printer. I believe the printer asked me if I wanted to update the firmware after I turned off the printer after the initial setup. You can do update the firmware by going to the printer settings. The printer works like champ so far.The camera is kind of cool. I was trying to connect with camera on my last print and the computer would momentarily disconnect from the printer and show the printer offline. This didn’t affect printing. It could be my Wi-Fi. Right now, the camera is not that important to me that I need to complain about it.In case it isn’t clear, the program to make print projects is on the FlashForge website. Look under software for Orca-Flashforge.

So Far So Good
Does a pretty good job with PLA and PETG. So far, any failed prints I have are either my error or a problem with the model. Works with stock Orcaslicer. The Android app is not so good. It is not on the Google Play store yet, so you have to download an .apk file. There is a decent integration for the printer in Home Assistant, so you can monitor your system through HA. The enclosure makes a huge difference with the printer noise.

Great for a beginner
Really easy to use with the FlashPrint software. Does have some quirks but nothing that you couldn’t work through. Easy to use touch screen display. Comes fully setup ready to use after removing 4 transport screws that are clearly marked with arrows. Great buy for a beginner to get into 3D printing. Only prints 1 color at a time.

Too high quality for 9year olds
So far worth the money. We bought it for our 9yo daughter to help her fall in love with STEM and it has. But… if your new to these things as I was you will also need to have a computer and multiple different SW platforms. We dont let our children have devices so that has posed an issue because I am left to download things or find things on thingiverse then use orca slicer to change to GCODE (file format) then put it on her flash drive for her to then go print.Yep not for 9 yo’s but fun nonetheless and it prints well.

The Worst
Bad customer service have this machine 3 months part broke (out of our 30 day return date) and trying to get in touch with them replace part they don’t reply I’ve tried many times nothing no help. Very disappointed.

Prodotto ottimo, appena l’ho tirato fuori dalla scatola era già pronto all’uso. Io ho preso la versione senza webcam interna, ma è comunque un prodotto molto interessante. Unica nota è l’assenza del supporto per bobine non originali, ma ho trovato facilmente e gratuitamente su Internet diverse versioni del supporto che ho stampato da me.

Speed and print quality are both phenomenal. Bed adhesion has been perfect when the bed temperature is set correctly first layers have been great. Also really impressed with the support flashforge has shown for this printer adding many features and accessories since I purchased. The only downside to this printer is how loud it is, the heatsink fan is much louder than it needs to be as the airflow slots in the print head create a lot of turbulence. The part cooling fan is also a monster and the loudest part of the entire machine. I would recommend the bambu lab A1 mini over this if you’re looking for a desktop printer unless you really really need that extra 4cm print volume in each axis.

Read the reviews to this before buying it, and thought for the price why not.Straight out of the box, undo the retaining bolts for the bed insert the LCD display (which is a fiddly ribbon cable) and basically your are off.The included filament is good quality, but needs to be wound on to something, as it’s loose and knots up. So its worth using a spooled filament. The prints I am getting are faultless, auto bed leveling is amazing (this is the first one I’ve had with it).Heats up very quick. Prints really fast. Certainly worth the purchase, for me anyway.
