These cutting mats are a must-have for any Cricut user. The adhesive is just right—it holds materials securely in place without damaging them when removed. I’ve tried all three versions (LightGrip, StandardGrip, and StrongGrip), and each one works perfectly depending on the type of material.The grid lines are extremely helpful for aligning designs with precision, which is ideal for detailed projects like labels, cards, or custom decorations. The size is perfect for most cuts, and the mat material is durable and easy to clean.Even after multiple uses, the adhesive continues to perform well if cared for properly (by keeping the protective sheet on and cleaning gently). An excellent investment for anyone who works with Cricut on a regular basis!

Would buy it again – some tips on stickiness and saving the life of your mats
For the price it is worth it. I think that these work great and give you extra space to work with, however they are a bit stickier than expected and it can be a bit frustrating, but better too sticky than not enough right? With a little patience you can reduce the stickiness and have some awesome mats at the fraction of the cost of the name brand ones. Just test which mat that works best for your project first with some scrap material FIRST and if needed reduce the stickiness before using them. You can do this in a number of ways, either take a few sheets of durable plastic or paper and place it on the mat and remove it several times until it’s where you need it to be or use a clean piece of fabric too do the same. Also consider removing your cut materials upside down and peeling back slowly to prevent the paper from getting stuck and tearing on the mat. Be sure to KEEP the plastic liner that comes with each of these mats for storing your mats so they don’t get dusty and dirty while not in use. You can also cut plastic packaging, or any unused plastic sheets/materials you have around the house, cling wrap, or non-stick paper to cover the the parts of the mat that won’t be in use/cut during your project, this helps keep your mat cleaner while in use too. Tools help too, while I do own a tool set made for this craft, I have found awesome tools at the dollar store that help too, one of my favorite $1 add-ons is using a metal table scraper/chopper that helps lift stuff from the mat.
