Awesome results / Frustrating activation (tips below!)
Breakdown: Sublimates in vibrant colors and is basically set it and go for each mug. The big issue was the setup and activation, but just follow the steps and if it doesn’t work after a couple of attempts, contact Cricut! Just don’t plan on unboxing and pressing as soon as it arrives.Wins:1. Fantastic colors2. Quick/Easy to use; no need to set temperature or anything, just place your mug and go3. Great for tumblers too!Quirks: Activation is a PAIN. First off, remember it MUST be done through the Cricut Design Space software. I followed every instruction five times, tried different USB cables, even used two different computers, and nada. Eventually I received a replacement, and NOTHING. Finally, I contacted Cricut Customer service, they asked for some info, and told me they’d get back with me in a few days. Over the next couple days I tried the activation a few times, then *bam*, it just worked one day. My guess is that they have to authorize the machine on their side before you can activate it. A total hassle, but in the end the machine works.Tips:1. Unfortunately you just have to trust the process for activation. You’ll need patience, a computer with the software installed, (probably) an assist from Cricut customer service, and more patience.2. I’ve also used this for tumblers! It’s so cool! To get the design in the correct position you may need to insert the tumbler upside down. Also, for tumblers that may be a bit smaller in diameter, I used Bwenky Tumbler Pads (ASIN: B0BS92WBSL), and it worked perfectly!Bottom line: It worked, and works wonderfully. I’m this close to dropping a star due to the activation hassle, but it works so well that I’ll just consider my review a 4.75 out of 5.

Have no fear; this is a great mug press
Excellent mug press and a great deal for the money. I’ve gone through a few mug presses and this one gives consistent results and provides solid pressure for mugs up to 12 oz in size. I had a George knight press which was rather expensive and the Cricut version is much better and easier to use.

Simple to use and very effective
I have 3 mug/tumbler heat presses and this one is by far the easiest to use and the best in terms of quality. The sublimation process can be a little smelly but that should be expected as there is no way around that. The compact size of the machine allows me to place it anywhere. I have not had any issues with heat levels and the machine is silent (as expected from any heat press). My customers are always satisfied with the final product. I would recommend this machine to anyone in the market for a mug press.

Fun machine
For a part time crafter making just a few mugs every now and then, this is a great little machine. It isn’t the fastest but it turns out great, colorful mugs and is easy to use. The mugs that come with it are (for me) indistinguishable from the pre-printed ones in a store. I have washed them in the dish washer and have seen no fading so far (~8 months of use).

Love the cricut mug press except for the gap it leaves around the handle
I had a large order of mugs to do before Christmas and purchased the cricut mug press to speed up the process. This press works excellent with great results.Easy to use once you connect and register it with Cricut, which was probably the only less than pleasant experience. My laptop isn’t close to my craft area and I am limited on room anywhere by my laptop so that was kind of a pain to deal with, but once it’s done you don’t have to do it again. It’s easy to use, although it takes about the same time as using a convection oven to sub on the mugs, I don’t need lots of heat tape and prep before and after is quicker. Although I can do four mugs at a time in my oven, the prep adds a lot of time.Only difference is I still have to use my convection oven to get full coverage wraps on mugs because the mug press has a fairly large gap of about 1.5″ around the handle. If my wraps are smaller images, it’s fine but for many wraps I still need to update the oven because that gap just doesn’t work for me, Erick is why I have it for stars. The timer is nice and I like it just has lights that progress during the time and beeps when it’s done. If they make an auto open one I would buy it in a heartbeat, as I did burn a couple add I left the room and got distracted and when I came back the mug was in an extra minute it two longer than it should have. Not any fault but my own.

Easy to use & does a beautiful job.
I love how this is a no brainer tool for crafters. Seriously! You design your mug, wrap it on the mug, turn on the press, green light go & the press adjust the time & pressure to perfection! I wish they would come up with a tumbler press, I would buy for sure!

first time I got it I activated the machine and was working perfectly fine , I made nice mugs and did have fun for a while.. Then I stopped using the machine for few months ( around 3 months ) when I come back to try making a new mug printing , I find out that the machine is only flashing orange and red , and doesn’t heat up.. I searched for the problem online and found out that many others having the same problem after using it for a while, some says it’s software problem that needs to be updated , while others saying hardware problem, but no solution online for this problem. I would love to give high rating for it , but if the machine is not working anymore it’s as good as scrap now and can’t get higher than a star. it’s only been 5 months since I ordered it.
