This lantern worked like a charm! I just went camping and was not looking forward to the bugs but my husband so this and purchased it. He turned it on the first night while we started cooking out dinner and there were not bugs in site. We carried on and it was wasn’t until we were by the campfire that I noticed it was still on and still no bugs near us! It’s well worth the price. It doesn’t have a smell or color to it. Just light it and go about your day. It lasts a long time as well we camped for 2 nights. Friday-Sunday and I think we still have about half of it left to burn.

Works but not refillable!
This product is great, has a moderate citronella smell, and works to deter mosquitoes. My only complaint is – why no refills? The glass candle insert should be easily replaceable. I don’t want to spend money and waste resources buying a replacement when this one burns out.

I think it works well enough. You don’t smell it too much when it’s lit, but it doesn’t smell bad in my opinion. It’s not a large source of light, but is good for just hanging in the backyard. It’s a cute little thing though!

This really works great. I have had mine for about 3 months and with occasional use its only at the half way point. Keeps the mosquitos away for rhe most part which is why I wanted it!

Overpriced for what you get. Looks a good idea until you realise that the candle could be very difficult to replace once it is used up. Disappointed with my purchase which came all the way from Germany. Couldn’t be ars***ed to return it.

I purchased this citronella candle to take to Cayo Coco Cuba where there is alot of mosquitos and noseums. This candle worked really well. The citronella scent is strong enough even for the noseums . The candle lasts a long time, as it is advertised so. When my candle was fully burned down, I just popped in a citronella votive candle and the lantern works just as good with the citronella votive. I highly recommend this lantern for evenings in Cayo Coco Cuba where there are alot of mosquitos and noseums at night.

Es una opción para ir de día de campo porque se transporta bien, sin embargo cuando se va consumiendo la vela es difícil encenderla pues el pabilo queda muy abajo.
