The kit was great. All you need for a beginner to start on a candle making project. Lots to choose from in the box ie. scented and unscented. It was very reasonably priced.

Easy For Beginners, Good Variety, Highly Recommend!!
I had ordered this kit for our (female Scouts BSA) Scout Troop to use during a meeting. As a test, three of the girls ages 13 – 17 each made a candle. They read the directions and made candles without any adult help. The girls report the kit is easy to use for people that have never made candles before. The only item needed that was not included was a larger pot to put the wax melting pot in. The instructions are easy and there is a wide variety of scents and colors to suit everyone’s fancy. The only complaint they had was the thermometer took a bit to get an accurate reading. They also had a little trouble centering the pot of wax within the pot of water. The pot we received had a curved handle that melted a bit at the bottom as it touched the outside of the larger pot of water. This also allowed the plastic handle to get hot. The pot shown in the directions had a straight handle.They each made jars as they thought they were “the prettiest”. The jars all have gift boxes that come with them. The gift boxes are very nice. They’re even foil stamped and UV coated. The tins have decorations to pretty them up.I tried finding refill kits so we would have enough tins for the troop, but on a quick search I didn’t see anything from this brand. Hint, hint! The wax needs time to harden so this may not make a good troop meeting night project, but would be great during a camping trip. The wax is hardening as I type so I’m not sure how long it will take.Overall, this is a very nice kit and would make a great gift for someone as everything is included except a large pot to boil water in. Highly recommend!

Couldn’t find anything to complain about
Overall it’s a great product. I couldn’t tolerate any of the scents, but because of that, I can assure you that they use real, natural, ingredients. I’m allergic to chamomile and spearmint, two very odd allergies, so I know when I encounter the real deal. Those two aren’t in /all/ of the mixes, I just didn’t like any of the other ones- personal preference. The tools are well made and durable, functions as intended. It’s a good value.
