    Great gift
I recently gifted a bomb bath making kit to my 10-year-old granddaughter for her birthday, and it was a hit! She absolutely loves it, and we had a wonderful time crafting bath bombs together. The kit is user-friendly and comes with everything we needed, making the experience enjoyable for both of us. The scents are amazing, filling the room with delightful aromas as we worked. The quality of the materials is excellent, and the price was very reasonable for such a fun and interactive gift. I highly recommend this kit for anyone looking to create special memories with their little ones while enjoying a creative project!

If only wanting a couple, it’s perfect
Only reason it didn’t get 4 stars is because you can’t make much with the quantity given. I did learn how to make bath bombs from this set though.

    Smell good but didn’t hold
We really struggled to get these out of the molds. We’ve made lots of bath bombs but these just crumbled. They do smell lovely and one or two came out of the mold if we verrrrrrry carefully squeezed then wiggled them out. Most just ended up as crumbles in a bag. I like the scents and the dried flowers. The kit came with everything needed and we’ll likely use the molds for another project… maybe soaps or a different formula for the bath bombs.

a great affordable way to get started making bath bombs, but needs better directions!
tl;dr: this kit is a good value for what you get and making the bombs is a lot of fun! but the directions aren’t comprehensive enough especially for beginners, so it’s easy to mess up along the way. mostly really happy with the experience, just wish the instructions were better.–I’ve been wanting to try making bath bombs for forever, and overall I had a great time experimenting with making them! And I feel like the price of the kit is good compared to what I would have spent finding and buying all the individual components myself. The kit comes with enough dry ingredients and oil to make three large bath bombs (one of each mold), and then you have the molds and plenty of pigment and fragrance left over to make more if you decide to buy more of the dry ingredients & oil.It really needs more detailed instructions though- it’s easy to go wrong and mess up the bath bombs if you’re a beginner. From what I’ve read now, apparently making bath bombs can be finicky and involves a lot of trial and error in the beginning in general so I’m chalking this up to part of the learning experience, but that’s all the more reason the directions should be as detailed as possible to help people avoid common problems!-try lightly coating the molds with oil (like greasing a cake pan) before filling them to make unmolding easier. I saw this tip ahead of time and mine came out of the molds really easily-directions should mention what consistency the mixture should be when adding the oil. It says to add between 5% &10% oil but doesn’t mention what adding more or less oil does or what consistency you’re looking for.-the kit comes with just enough dry ingredients and oil to make one of each mold, so if you want three different scents/colors it’s hard to know exactly how much to use for each bomb since they’re different sizes. By the time I got to the round scalloped mold I didn’t have enough to fill it completely so I made a half bomb with that mold and a half bomb of the smaller round mold. In hindsight I could’ve gotten away with filling the first two molds a little less densely and then probably would’ve had enough for the last one, but I was just guessing how much to use for each & how tightly to pack the molds since the directions don’t say.-next time I’ll try the suggestion I saw online after the fact of just removing the top half of the mold and letting the bombs dry in the bottom half for support. I had to move them part way through drying, and trying to gently pick them up (which I’d done with no trouble when I first unmolded them) made one split in half and another crumble entirely.

    Fun Activity!
You won’t get to make many bath bombs from this but you will have a fun experience and essentially “starter tools” to continue making things in the future. I did this as group activity with my partner. It was by no means the best kit in the world it definitely has it’s flaws like it’s hard to them out of the molds. But being able to make them yourself is so much fun and the kit has lots of options you can use with yours. From color choice, to the scent. If you are looking for a fun activity to do with a friend or spouse or even your kids this is a fun controlled activity.
