Not great for cross stitching
I gave it a 5 star because there is nothing wrong with the product but however it doesn’t thread 2 strands of thread, just only one strand. Plus for cross stitching if you use a tiny needle (I am using a 26 needle) it is really really difficult to get it to thread if you can, it did break a needle for me. So for what I wanted it for (threading DMC floss for cross stitching) it does not work well unless you are using a bigger needle and only 1 strand of thread. Most times for cross stitching you are using 2 or more strands of thread.

Unfortunately did not work for us
Unfortunately, these threaders are flimsy and cheaply made. I bought these to help elderly parent to thread needle. Needless to say… fast food toys are made better than these. Only buy if you want to waste your money.

Good idea but bigger needles don’t work
Great idea but unfortunately I wasn’t able to use this because the needles I had were too big. I was able to put the needle in the hole and attach the thread but I was unable to pull it back out threaded. I tried varies ways and was still unable to get it to work. I did however, try on a smaller sized needle and it worked just not for what I needed. It would be helpful to know what size needles work best for this.

You have to line this up perfectly for it to work, and if you have trouble seeing these are not for you. It does work though, may take a few times.

Not very efficient needle threader
These needle threaders are kind of useless because they don’t work very well. I don’t like them. But it was not expensive so I kept them.

Didn’t work for me
Didn’t work for me. I tried sewing machine and hand needles- neither would match up with hook to thread needle. Could not insert needles deep enough. I reread descriptions & some emphasized embroidery needles , but did not specify ONLY. It’s very difficult for me to thread needles & hoped this would provide solution.
