Excellent engineering, goes together well
This is my third bag. I felt comfortable with the directions and the video. The gusset in the wallet was hard to do but the excellent engineering let it all come together. I would not recommend this as a first project but great if someone feels confident with the saddle stitch. My wallet is nice but not soft and pliable. I am happy with Popsewing and the quality of the kit.

Neat Project with a Great Result!
This was a cool project to do over a few hours. I was really interested in doing one of these Popsewing items but didn’t want to pay a lot for something of poor quality. What I got was really high quality leather and a nice finished project that I made! One thing I would recommend is that anyone who is interested in doing more than one of these projects should get a stitching pony. I don’t know how you would do this well – meaning keeping appropriate and consistent tension on the stitching – without a stitching pony. You can find them on Amazon very easily.

Fun and rewarding way to learn leather crafting!
I was very impressed with the quality of the kit and instructional video. I have some experience in making leather journal covers but was always intimated by anything more complicated. This was a great entry since all the pieces are precut and holes have been punched. The only frustrating times were when I got the thread tangled or when the videos go slightly too fast or the captions don’t quite line up.Overall, a great way to de-stress and have a really professional looking final product! I highly recommend buying a stitching pony if you like me have gone down the deep-end in leathercrafting! I purchased a lot of other designs from their website and am looking forward to making all my handbags from now on!

Like: design is elegant; material is reasonable quality; instructions are clear. I enjoy making the bag – probably 10 hrs total.Dislike: the paw itch pin broke off after only a few use. But customer service is great. They sent me a replacement part so I can fix it without re-sew anything.Recommend if you enjoy little crafty project that yield a nice bag for use
