This cutting board extension works really well with Cricut Maker machines. I love how easy it was to assemble and use—the tray snaps right onto the front of the machine. It keeps mats feeding smoothly and makes a noticeable difference in keeping both 12×12 and 12×24 mats aligned and stable during cuts.The only thing to note is that it supports only the front of the mat. If you’re working with longer mats, the back still needs some extra support, but overall this is a simple, effective addition that makes cutting much easier and more precise.

Easy to put together. Only thing I wish was that that the fit was more snug. Almost like lock in place. Because the slightest bump makes it come off. It’s not the end of the world but during a project I’d like for it to stay on completely

Definitely a worthwhile extra for the Cricut Maker
It works just as it should. The way my Cricut is set up, I frequently had to hold the end of the mat up with my hand as it fed in and out of the machine (especially when cutting more rigid materials). But this eliminated that need. It holds the mat up just fine, freeing up my hands for setting up the next mat I want to cut. I’m pretty resistant to the “you really should have this extra item for your already-expensive hobby” mindset, but this one is totally worth it.
