A work horse like no other!
So far so good! (1 month) I have printed 116h non stop on my first very large project. I have been SLA printing for about 5 years, but I had to get an FDM printer, to complete this dream project. I did have a pretty bad jam in the heat pipe above the hot end. Anycubic was fast to send me a replacement (as I couldn’t get the jam out). Took 24 hours to get a response, and had a replacement Hot End within 5 days. 5 Stars for Tech Support!! I have been loving this printer, and it’s been tackling the project like a champ! I had to take the hot end assembly apart to get the entire jam out. (YT videos are the best) and it was all pretty straight forward.Pros:Fast, fast printing!Easy to setupPrints are very good as wellFor the price, you can’t beat the valueHas all the features more expensive printers haveCons:Camera.. horrible trash, it’s like using an early 2005 720p laptop camera. The good news, you can use any USB camera, though you’ll loose access to the light feature. (see image for image quality)Camera mount.. more horrible trash.. it basically gives you a view of nothing.. I printed an optional camera mount from a 3rd party site. It gave me a different view of trash.. (I have since moved it to the corner on it’s own tripod)Again, overall I am extremely satisfied with this printer and the quality. I WISH it came with both a better camera, and a better place to mount it (like the front of the unit maybe?) I would highly recommend this printer if you’re looking for a great printer at a great price. It supports AMS and multicolor (for more $$) but as it is, if you’re just doing one color, this is your choice printer!

I’m an Anycubic fan an have several of their printers, I very much prefer my Kobra S1s for everyday printing, but I have to say the Kobra 3 V2 comes in as a close second while acknowledging that it’s an open air printer… This printer prints as good as could be expected, a really decent printer over all but, since I’m so used to the enclosed S1s this printer’s noise levels kind of bugs me, it’s not horrible but I really appreciate the newer enclosed printers… Setup was painless, but as noted I have multiple Anycubic printers so I’m quite familiar with setting them up and already have and Anycubic account so it’s just a matter of me adding another printer to the setup I already use…

DO NOT BUY the AnyCubic Kobra3 printer!I bought the Combo printer based on a review, thinking it would be a modest upgrade from my Creality Ender3. After less than 6 weeks, it had catastrophic failure, and no function worked. After waiting 23 days for a replacement cable, it didn’t fix the issue. I then spent 3 weeks troubleshooting. Despite sending 10 messages, they never gave me troubleshooting information, ignored the possibility of a faulty machine, and ultimately asking for a refund. Their offer?– a 1KG roll of filament as compensation. That they still have not sent!!!!THEY ARE A LYING, COWARDICE COMPANY THAT MAKES CRAPPY MACHINES AND HIDES BEHIND A CRAPPY REFUND POLICY!!!DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, EFFORT, OR MONEY ON THE KOBRA3!

Quality prints at a reasonable price
I upgraded to this from an Ender 3 Pro, and it is so much easier to get quality prints out of. The ender was always a process to get the first few layers down without incident. On this one, it is trivial. I’ve printed a dozen things so far with 6 different filaments – gray PLA, rainbow PLA, a couple different silk PLAs, a PLA+, and TPU. The only issues I had with adhesion were when using the gray and rainbow PLAs, which I attribute more to them sitting out in the open for months and probably being much wetter than they should be than any flaw with the printer. I ended up using a glue stick for a dragon print that kept failing, and it worked fine after that. All the filaments that came straight out of vacuum sealing with desiccant had zero issues. I was particularly impressed with the TPU printing in vase mode.Assembly was not difficult, and I didn’t have to do any tuning. I was a little annoyed that they make you print the case for the camera, but at least they include barely enough filament to do so. The camera seems to just be there for monitoring and making time lapses. I don’t think it does any kind of error detection unless that’s a feature of using the cloud account or APP, neither of which I am doing.Supposedly it has filament break detection, but I have yet to see this work. I had one print that I ran overnight and came out in the morning to find it “finished”, but the top half missing due to a filament break. Similarly, another print ran into a spooling issue that caused the filament to bind, and it just kept “printing” with nothing coming out.Complicated models (like the dragon) will take some tweaking to get perfect, but most stuff prints adequately on the first try.The first thing you will want to print (other than the camera housing) is a poop catcher. This printer has a hilariously designed poop tray that literally flings the purged filament across the room. I’m not kidding, it sends it into low earth orbit, and unless you like finding these by stepping on them, you’ll want a catcher.I’d also recommend paying a little extra and getting the bundle that comes with an ACE Pro for multicolor prints. I’m looking to add one and it’s more expensive than the printer. It’s under half that price as part of a bundle.
