It was a little difficult taking off the film, since the product was so small, but I was impressed that they had tabs to help you. It work pretty well in keeping my desk top protector down,

Works for me
These are pretty small, so if you’ve got porky fingers (like me) peeling off the backing will be tedious. I used tweezers, worked like a charm.

These little sticky dots are perfect. I was able to use them on my figurines in their clear display case. I even tilted the clear box and none of the figurines moved. Some have 2 dots and some have just 1 dot.

Multiple uses even unexpected ones
Love them. I actually used them unexpectedly on a trip. I happened to pack them and when I found my pants were a bit too long for my new shoes I used them to temporarily hold the hem and it worked, lol. Don’t touch them too much as it does take away the sticking and that dot becomes useless but otherwise they work great. Took away a star for this.

A staple in my household!
These are a staple in my house, I use them for just about anything I would use tape for!They are durable, I have used them outside in WI in all weather climates. They are super sticky and function great on all surfaces (metal, plastic, wood, glass, laminate, etc.). They are also the perfect thickness and don’t cause anything to bubble up and aren’t noticeable when holding something down/in place.

Clear, But Not That Easy to Use
One of my decorative passions right now is changing out seasonal designs on a tiered tray in our main bedroom. I have it on top of a bookcase and there’s plenty of room to use kits of accessories, plus other items that I add in, like small plush animals, silk flowers, and the like. Some of the accessory sets come with banner pieces to string together, then hang on the exterior of the tray. They often include two-sided sticky foam to adhere the banners, which don’t tend to last that long.I had ordered this mounting putty stickers to replace the ones that aren’t holding well. It was a hassle to get the free from my fingers once I removed each sticker from the backer film on which they came. The stickers tended to not stay flat, but rather wanted to bunch up and stick to themselves. It wasn’t the kind of use case experience that I was expecting.So far, they are holding the lightweight wooden banner pieces in place. We’ll have to see how well they last, and whether this is an improvement over the foam kind of double-sided stickers. Hopefully, they will do the intended job. I’m not sold on the gumminess of sticking better to themselves versus to the wooden surfaces.

Effective Stickies, Keeping my Collection “Earthquake Proof”
I have used these two-sided ‘mounting dots’ for a variety of uses in my full-of-collectibles home ~ everything from sticking down figures without bases to keeping a doll’s shoe on a slippery-bare foot; these mounting dots stick strong and stay until I remove them. In my experience, they are best when used between plastics (like anime figure PVC/plastics and shelving units or plastic bases). They usually leave little to no glue residue behind and the leftover bits are very easily cleaned otherwise. Beware of using these dots with paper, cardboard, posters, etc. ~ these are effectively glue dots, so just be aware they can possibly damage paper goods and even some wall paint finishes. Tack carefully and intentionally ~ really these are extremely functional & useful for keeping dolls, figures, and small trinkets “earthquake proof”, so to say! Wobbly or crooked shelves are no match for the staying power these have when utilized properly on the right subjects! So have fun with your displays without worry of falling items. 🙂

Trying to keep my figures from falling with anything but nails or glue feels like a loosing effort, at this point. I’ve tried a bunch of things (even magnets) and nothing seems to work for long, including Blutack. So now I’m trying this and it’s… iffy. In the first image (X-Men), I’ve used it to hold up Wolverine and Siryn. It seems to be working; especially, with they way Siryn is positioned. It’s tough to hold her up like that. I’ve got the adhesive on both of their feet. Time will tell.So, I tried using it on one of my Eaglemoss Star Trek ships. The goal was to hang them on the wall. I tried that before with Blutack and they eventually just started falling off (Siryn eventually fell down with Blutack, as well). I tried this single adhesive and the ship fell off within minutes. The 2nd picture just shows the ship hanging there with a thumbtack, instead. The lesson here, I guess, is to not try to hang anything on the wall with anything but a nail or glue. And I’m not even 100% confident about the glue if it isn’t Crazy Glue.There is one big problem with these, though. The strips are covered with plastic on one side that you have to tear off before using, so you can expose the other sticky side. I don’t know who’s bright idea this was, but the plastic is the same color as the adhesive, so it’s almost impossible to distinguish….and a few minutes after writing this review, Siryn begins to fall (picture #3). So there you go.Pros: Easy to removeCons: Very difficult to separate from the plastic

Our gazebo is in a very windy area and I have 4 lanterns sitting on 4 tables. I put 2 of these almost invisible tabs under the 2 back corners of each lantern and the wind doesn’t move the lanterns at all! The pads are pliable enough that I can still tilt the lanterns backwards enough to replace the batteries when needed!

Musuem dots are clear dots sticky on both sides. Used for securing items on shelves. Leaves no sticky residue if you want to remove them. Lots of these dots so you can use several for larger items. Nice that they are clear & discreet.
