Still works after 4 years
I bought this little set in 2020 and it still works like a champ, I haven’t had the experience of the needle falling off nor has it dulled too much. Honestly, it’s not the highest quality but it certainly get the job done.

I bought this product to figure out what size punch needle I need for the yarns that I have and thus let me do that by providing a cheap variety. If I didn’t plan on buying a needle with better handles in the size I want and planned on continuing using this product I would probably use gloves to protect my fingers since I have to apply pressure on the needle base bolt looking thing and it is not comfy.Completely assembled the punch needle is no bigger than my pinky finger. So if you are looking for an ergonomic tool this is not it.Everything that is pointy is super sharp so be careful. Especially the threader. It will just bury into your skin if you don’t keep track of where the pointy bits are while using.Also the needle length isn’t adjustable so you can only make one loop size for all needle gauges.All sizes but the largest work on cross stitch fabric

Good Things Come In Small Packages, But This Ain’t One of ‘Em
Absolutely would not recommend for beginners or experienced. The handle is constantly falling off and there’s no way to secure your needles. You’d think that they would screw on and off, but it just slots into a short metal pipe and you hope it stays in place for more than five stitches. They’re also sized like they’re meant for children’s hands, so you’re liable to cramp after a few minutes of use. Functionality is crazy low. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Great punch needle. There are no instructions, but I assume you would have an idea of how they work. If not, YouTube videos are essential. I love that the handle can be switched according to needle size by just pulling them appart. It’s quite easy to get it set up. The only challenge here is mastering how to punch needle. Needless to say, great purchase, I love that the size needle is quite visible and the threads that it comes. The container for storage is great, keeps them safe from breaking. My only issue is the threader, it’s pretty hard to get it to open; fragile very fragile. Will buy again.

Did not work – needs specific fabric
I was hoping to gift this to my partner who unfortunately does not have the dexterity to embroider traditionally anymore. This is a set of ‘punch needles’ and not embroidery needles at all, they are two separate things. Apart from listing it falsely as embroidery needles (along with crochet / knitting which is more clearly not their intended purpose and probably there just to entice people from semi-related searches), I had some problems with the product itself.Regardless of what thickness of embroidery thread I used, which needle size I used, it would not stay even in non stretchy tough fabric like a linen dish towel. The moment I went to the next stitch they came out. I followed punch needle tutorial videos (not supplied, I sought them out myself), and made sure to be careful and only pull the needles out a tiny bit before going to the next stitch, but my previous stitch was always undone by the one following it. I have learned that punch needles require a pretty specific type of fabric that is very tight and strong – I wish that had at least been included in the kit, at least a sample square.This came with no instructions at all. I was unable to figure out how to change the needles of the large tool, meaning I had to hold the differently sized needles by themselves which was uncomfortable and would have been nearly impossible for the person who would be receiving this as a gift.All and all, it’s a specific tool and needs specific fabric, plus the lack of tutorial or instruction made it too difficult to use. If this came with sample fabric that the tool was meant for, and / or instructions, my rating would be a lot higher despite the ’embroidery’ mislabeling of the product.

I needed to quickly embroider some Christmas stockings and ornaments for gifts and this was so easy to use! Beginner friendly, simple design.I’ll be using these for some future punch needle embroidery projects for sure!
