4pack silk dual color PLA filament
These four rolls (250 g spools) printed like a dream straight out of the box.Loaded each one into my A1, used the stock generic silk PLA profile, zero tweaksPerfect layer adhesion, no stringing, no jams, no under-extrusionColors shift beautifully under light, exactly like the photosZero issues, zero waste. When these run dry I’m ordering the same exact set again. 5 stars.

Fun colored filament with no issues.
We have a anycubic kobra 2 printer. This filament works well, no problems with loading or unloading. The quality is excellent, looks great on prints and the colors are bright and appealing, I love to use these for accent colors instead of plain filament. For the prince, you get a good variety and color range.

Awesome colors but spools are small
I ordered the dual-color 4 pack of Deep Blue/Purple, Green/Rose Red, Deep Blue/Green, and Red/Gold, and I am impressed with each roll of filament. These colors are incredible and create a cool color-shifting effect that you don’t get with the dual-color gradient filaments like the rainbow spools.Rather than getting one color and then another, both colors exist in the filament at the same time, so you get a true dual-color effect when you look at the printed object. I really love the Red/Gold color roll, it creates an awesome effect where it looks almost orange but shimmers to the red and gold colors as light hits it.You get a full 1kg of filament spread across four spools, so your prints are limited to 250g per color combination. This is a bit limiting in what you can print, so don’t think you are about to print a deep blue/green life-size statue of the Green Goblin, a small statue of that would look awesome though. Apart from the size of the spools, the other big limitation is that this is good ol’ PLA, not PLA+ or any other hybrid that can withstand heat or abuse of any kind. This means no prints for the car or on the patio, as they will melt.I didn’t see any 1kg rolls of these available from Epelay yet, so small items are all I will be making with this, but it is a filament/color combinations I recommend for small projects that you don’t intend on painting. As far as print quality, it printed very well with minor stringing in the center spiral of the Elegoo torture cube, as shown.Overall, I do recommend having this filament around for quick little projects that have details, as the filament seems to really shine in those types of applications. I think the price is good for the quality of filament.

Works great in a Bambu Lab AMS with adapter
This filament works great in my Bambu Lab P1P in an AMS, but you’ll need to print an adapter to fit the smaller spools these are on. That said, I’ve used the red/orange one so far to print some Halloween decorations and it’s worked great so far – adhered to the print bed no problem, no layer adhesion issues, etc. Note the that I use a filament dryer for all my new spools, so I can’t comment on how it prints straight out of the packaging.

Nice variety of colors, printed well on my Bambu X1C
I dried these mini-rolls before printing some Benchies as a test print on my Bambu X1C printer, and I was pretty impressed with the results. I used the temperature range called out on the individual spools, and had no stringing and no issues with adhesion, as you can see in the attached photos. Being a silk filament, it’s a little less forgiving than regular PLA when it comes to strength, but it looks great. I’m looking forward to printing some fidgets and other fun things with these colors, though the rolls are small at only 250g, it’s nice having so many options to choose from when you’re looking to make a fun print.
A Reviewer –
Red & Gold color is amazing (only 250kg per roll)
These are some great filaments to give your projects that extra bling. Unfortunately, the photo of this print does not really do it justice, the nuances of the color effect is positional and how the light reflects off it at that moment. The filament consists of both colors simetaneously (not a gradient), so if you looked at a cross section with a line through the center, each of those two halves are a different color.Given these are small spools, and I use a Bambu AMS, I needed to print an adapter to be able to use the spool. While the adapter was printing, I threw the spool in the filament dryer for the recommended time and temp for a full 1kg roll of PLA. The toy in the pic was printed on a .4 nozzle without any specific calibration for the filament, using generic PLA profile modified for the higher nozzle temp recommended above. Printed well, no stringiness, good adhesion, etc.Just bear in mind you get a TOTAL of 1kg in 4 rolls of different color combinations for a smidge more than what you would pay for a normal 1kg roll of boring PLA. Sadly, I do not see a listing for full 1kg rolls for any of these color pairs from this vendor currently. Make sure whatever awesomeness you plan on printing fits within the filament budget, including any waste from color changes as 250g is a pretty tight budget.
