3D Printer Adhesive Glue Bed Weld Original, Strong Grip Reduces Warping for ABS, ASA, PLA, and PETG Filament on Compatible Build Plates, 118ml, 4 fl oz
$22.95

Do you have trouble with parts warping or detaching from your printer bed?
Have you struggled with part removal after your print is finished?
INTRODUCING LAYERNEER BED WELD!
BED WELD is engineered to solve these challenges by enhancing your print surface. It grabs hold of that critical first layer when your build surface is hot and refuses to let go with its gecko-like grip. In many cases, you can print without rafts or brims, saving you time and material.
Once your print finishes, let your bed cool to room temperature. As it cools, Bed Weld releases its hold, so you don’t have to wrestle to get your part off. Typically, your part will fully detach without needing tools.
BED WELD comes with a unique applicator that makes applying the coating a simple no mess process. The coating dries quickly when the bed is heated. It forms a thin film that is “not sticky”, yet parts will adhere well to it.
NOTE: BED WELD was designed for use with heated build plates made from glass. Applying to glass build plates is preferred. See “Compatibility Guide” image for a full list of supported built plate surfaces.
Creality flexible magnetic sheets, textured PEI, spring steel, and aluminum surfaces are not supported.
Works with PLA, ABS, PETG, ASA, and CPE filaments. BED WELD is not recommended for use with Nylon, PP, or TPU 95A.
See “Compatibility Guide” image for a full list of supported filament types.
PRINTING TIPS: When printing with ABS, we recommend setting your bed temperature no higher than 80C, and using an enclosure.
Turn off printers “Economy” mode so your bed temperature remains stable throughout the print.
BED WELD is backed by an unconditional 90-Day money-back manufacturer guarantee, so you risk nothing!

Great adhesion on glass build plates
I’ve previously been using glue sticks or hairspray for adhesion when printing on glass build plates. While both options work, they are messier, don’t always provide consistent adhesion, and can leave an unwanted finish on the bottom of prints (requiring cleaning and/or sanding). The LAYERNEER bed weld is a fantastic product! Here’s what I like about it:- The sponge applicator prevents too much product from coming out and makes it very easy to apply the product only where needed.- After applying and allowing the product to dry (dries by the time the bed is heated), the dried product is clear and leaves a smooth (nearly invisible) layer on top of the print bed.- Since the product dries smooth, there’s no chance it will cause imperfections on the bottom of the prints (like chunky glue sticks often do).- The product is water soluable, so it’s easy to clean off the build plate with hot water. While not required, a small dab of dish soap adds some lubrication and makes washing easier.- The cap securely twists onto the top of the bottle to protect the foam applicator and keep the product from drying out.- One layer is good for 5-10 prints. LAYERNEER states a wet sponge can be used to recharge the bed weld, but I haven’t tried that yet.- While washing the build plate will always yield the best results, I’m able to reapply additional layers of bed weld (as needed) a few times before washing the build plate. Some tips for success:- Check out the image LAYERNEER included in the product description for a list of build plates this product works best with. There are a lot of low star reviews here where customers mention they are using build plates that are not on the suggested list (like textured build plates).- Apply the product when the bed is at room temperature.- Shake the bottle for about 5 seconds before applying. There is a ball inside of the bottle (like in a can of spray paint) that helps mix the product.- Press the sponge applicator straight down until it bottoms out on the build plate to allow the product to moisten the sponge applicator. And then lightly brush the sponge applicator acrosss the build plate to distribute the product where needed (wherever the parts will be placed).- Wait for the product to air dry before printing if not using a heated bed. If using a heated bed, the product will be dry by the time the bed reaches the target temperature.- After a print has completed, wait for the bed to cool down to room temperature for easier/cleaner removal.I’ve been 3D printing (mostly on glass build plates) since 2015. The LAYERNEER bed weld is the best product I’ve used so far. My only disappointment is that it took me this long to find a product that consistently works well. I’ll definitely be purchasing LAYERNEER bed weld again in the future (use Subscribe & Save to save 15%).

NO MORE RAFTS AND BRIMS!!!
I print for a living. 3dprintedbagpipes.com, actually. Check me out! Anyway, ALL my prints are one at a time and printed vertically. And they’re all VERY TALL! Tall prints fall over very easily. I’ve tried hairspray (waste of money), glue stick (messy, and only works some of the time), so I figured I’d try this one. I liked the applicator, and because you let it dry BEFORE you print, I don’t have to race against my preheat to get it on the bed while it’s still sticky.THIS STUFF ROCKS!!!!! I now print Bagpipe Chanters, and they’re 14″ tall, and I can print them without a brim, without a raft, and without worry a bit!I LOVE THIS STUFF! I’M GOING TO PUT IT ON MY WEDDING CAKE WHEN I GET MARRIED! I’M GOING TO NAME MY FIRSTBORN AFTER THIS STUFF!!! Yeah, the only part of that that’s true is me loving this stuff. But seriously, it’s a fantastic product. Don’t bother with hairspray, glue stick, or any of that other crap. Go with Bed Weld! No Warping, No ripping the print off the bed, NO FAILS!!! I used to have TONS of fails…. It was always a gamble. I’ve attached pictures of some of my more pathetic and infuriating fails. But also some BED WELD WINS!!!!THANK YOU GUYS!!!! See those pictures of prints? Those are all printed VERTICALLY with NO bed adhesion from the slicer. Just Bed Weld!

Works very well on glass print beds
This works very well on glass print beds, much better than the standard glue sticks. It works for several prints, and holds the print firmly in place. Once cool, the print comes right off with no problems and only a minimum of effort. Note this does *not* work on beds that use kapton tape.

Great addition to your printer tools, especially for large prints.
This stuff works well. Definitely better than using hair spray or other solutions I used in the past plus it uses way less product to get a similar effect which makes me think this will be a lot cheaper in the long run. You will need to reapply before each large print but for small stuff, I only apply a new layer roughly every 5 prints. Overall, it grips prints well when used correctly, lasts long enough for my liking and doesn’t have any awful smells to deal with.

forget about gluesticks, this has zero mess and total hold. a bit expensive but truly worth it.

Great stuff, far more effective and less messy than other adhesion tricks I’ve tried. Goes on easily with the foam applicator. Seems to last well so worth the cost in my opinion

Excelente pegamento para elMaterial

somehow for slightly larger print out around 100×100.. it still can hold it to the bed well.. however, for really large print such as about 200×200, for the prusa printer that we have, ABS still does not hold well on the corner for 200×200

As an avid 3D printing enthusiast, I’ve tried numerous adhesion solutions over the years, but none have matched the performance of Bed Weld Original, which is now my go-to solution for stopping warping etc.Pros:Strong Grip: This adhesive provides a robust bond between the print bed and the filament, significantly reducing the chances of warping or detachment during printing.Versatility: Compatible with a wide range of filaments, including ABS, PLA, ASA, and PETG, making it a one-stop solution for various printing needs.Easy Application: The bottle is easy to apply, and a little goes a long way, ensuring long-term use without frequent reapplications.Cons:Initial Odour: Upon first application, there is a slight odour, but it dissipates quickly and doesn’t affect the print quality.Final Thoughts:If you’re looking to improve print adhesion and reduce warping issues, Bed Weld Original is a must-have addition to your 3D printing toolkit. Its strong grip and compatibility with various filaments make it an invaluable asset for both beginners and seasoned professionals.
