Maybe they changed?
So this is actually my second time purchasing this gold because I loveedddd the first one (bought the black, white and silver too and STILL have it left over they give so much!) but this one feels like it’s much more difficult to weed and peel. It cuts perfect and the application is the same once it’s heat pressed, but it seems like the vinyl film is soooo much more difficult to peel. It’s like the clear film is much thicker too. I know the type vinyl is different from the traditional ones which is why I love it but it was not this hard with the last roll to peel and weed. I’m not gonna return it because, again, the final result is beautiful but I just wanted to share that in case. But again, it’s great for the amount and quality and it may just have been this batch I got.

Glossy black
High quality HTV vinyl! It’s more of a gloss than matte black. It is soft when heat pressed into shirts so that’s a plus! I’ve washed and heat dried my shirt several times and it’s still attached well. Very easy to weed!

Adjust your cut settings, keep some tape handy.
Good vinyl for the price, black is very glossy. (Not a bad thing if that’s what you’re lookin for)My only tip is to increase the cut pressure ever so slightly on your Cricut before cutting because it can be a little bit difficult to weed if you’re cutting it on just the regular iron on vinyl setting. Esp if it’s a very detailed design. If it’s a pretty large design, you might be fine.It’s also not very sticky when placed down on a shirt so you want to have some heat resistant tape ready to keep it in place.
