This is a good value for a set of 36 smaller 1 ½ inch sized round cut off cutting wheels for standard 1/8” compatible rotary devices with 3 mandrels included. The wheels and mandrels are good quality and it’s a very nice set in a nice storage case.The wheel size is a smaller 1 ½ (1.5) inch (38 mm) size in a circular wheel.They are made for your own (not included) powered rotary or “Dremel” style device. They can fit devices compatible with a mandrel attachment size 1/8” (3 mm).They can be used at up to (but not over) 45,000 max RPM (rotations per minute).There are 3 good quality stainless steel mandrel attachment accessories included. They are in a smaller 1/8” size (3 mm), which should fit most rotary or “Dremel” style devices.The quality of the discs is good and they are very sturdy and well made. The discs are sturdy, rigid and fiberglass reinforced and have a good thickness at a thin 1.25 mm (or 0.05 inches or 3/64” inch). The wheels are very well labeled with the details and RPM and it’s easy to see and read the label.In the listing pictures they have a picture showing how many multiple layers the discs have (see the listing pictures). It looks like they have 8 total layers, 2 layers each of the 4 different layers. They are double side reinforced for stability.Layer 1, 2: (the base layer, the label area): information layer (2 layers)Layer 3, 4: resin bonding layer (2 layers)Layer 5, 6: fiberglass mesh (2 layers)Layer 7, 8: (the abrasive cutting layer) modified sand layer (2 layers)The set comes in a nice clear, hard plastic case that’s well labeled and holds all the items well. The case is good quality, compact in size without a handle and opens and closes easily and securely.Note that this style of wheel is only a cutting style wheel like a circular saw but in a small size. It can’t be used for buffing or grinding, only for cutting material like a small saw. They can be used for cutting, trimming and re-grooving.Note that no powered device comes with the set, it’s just a set of cut off wheels and adapters. Be sure they will be compatible with your powered device. They should fit most small rotary or “Dremel” style devices that can use a standard 1/8” (3mm) attachment.Be sure your device can adjust downward to the maximum 45,000 RPM of the wheels so you don’t go over the maximum RPM of 45,000 RPM.Be sure that these cut off wheels are going to be compatible with the material you want to cut. They are rated for cutting metal, plastics, stainless steel and thin natural lumber products.There are some instructions included inside the case. You may also want to save, print or refer to the listing pictures and details as some use tips are included there as well.Be careful when installing these or handling them as they are sharp.Always wear proper eye protection during use (not included).

This is a review for the SBESTILY – 1-1/2 Cut Off Wheels,BUILD:This kit come with 32 cutting wheels and 4 mounting posts. The cutting disc’s themselves are made of fiberglass mesh with resin and coarse sand.The kit also comes with four (4) generic mounting posts that use a screw style attachment at the top.The kit also comes with a small case to keep everything neatly organized.USE:These cutting wheels are designed to use with rotary tools but are not specific to any brand. They are used to cut or trim metal of varying toughness and thickness within the limits of the tools design.They’re designed for use with a 1/8 inch arbor.The cutting wheels are mounted to one of the four included mounting posts in the kit. By unscrewing the top screw and removing it , you can then thread the screw through the hole of the disc and re-attach the screw to the other section of the mounting post.Is disks have a maximum speed usage of 35,000 RPMSUMMARY:I found these cutting discs to be versatile and effective for most rotary tool applications. While they do cut very well, you should know that their effectiveness depends on what you are cutting. If you are cutting or trimming thin sheet aluminum, this won’t be a problem. If you’re trying to cut stainless steel, then I would definitely buckle up.While I prefer the locking style compression fittings for these kind of tools, the standard screw mounting works perfectly fine here. These disc’s will not function with some proprietary mounting styles like the “hour glass” compresson fitting of some name brand rotary tools.These worked very well with my name brand rotary tool , and I found them to be effective for the use that I bought them for. In my case, there were some lug nuts on my vehicle that feature a double layer beauty cap. They, unfortunately swelled, and I wasn’t able to get the lug nut off without rotating just the beauty cap portion. I was forced to cut these beauty caps off using a rotary tool and these cutting discs. The beauty cap cover was made of a thinner tin like metal and it cut right through it with no issue.While these disc’s do wear out over time, the kit gives you 32 of them so that should get you through numerous projects depending on their scope.If you’re looking for a nice kit of cutting disks that are relatively inexpensive, this is a really good buy.

Great Value Cut-Off Wheels — Not EZLock, but Easy on the Wallet
I use my Dremel for just about everything — cutting PVC, trimming rebar, shortening bolts, you name it. My go-to bit is always the cut-off wheel. Normally I stick with the Dremel brand because of the EZLock system, but I decided to give these a try since they’re a fraction of the price.They’re not quite as durable as the Dremel wheels, but the cutting speed is nearly identical. The only real drawback is that they don’t use the EZLock system, so you have to screw them on and off the old-fashioned way. Honestly, at about fifty cents a wheel compared to almost three bucks for the Dremel version, I’ll gladly take the extra 15 seconds to swap them.They cut cleanly, handle small jobs with ease, and save a ton of money if you go through discs like I do. Overall, a solid buy and a smart alternative for anyone who uses their rotary tool regularly.
