Extra large, high quality cutting mat
This is a huge cutting mat and quite heavy. It needs a large table that will support the whole thing. I was looking for a thick self-healing mat and finally found one. This will be perfect for cutting large or small pieces of fabric as well as craft paper projects.

I bought three! Perfect size!
I have three, large 18″x24″ cutting mats on my work desk, but I bought three of these smaller “ZERRO Cutting Mat”. At this price, it was crazy for me not to. I build models and have three storage areas for the models I’m building. I placed one of the cutting mats in each of the three storage areas. They act as a tray for the model, a gluing mat, a photoetch and decal cutting mat, and a hand painting mat for each individual model. They help to preserve the larger mats I have covering my work desk and help them stay cleaner. Perfect! Highly recommend!

Very nice mat worth more than the price
Shipped FLAT: That’s a huge plus. This isn’t my first cutting mat over the years. I could tell this one was quality as soon as I took it out of the shipping box. I will be using it with rotary cutters acrylic templates for fabric. Worth at least double the price for the size (24×36). Minimal chemical odor right out of the box. Heavy duty, double sided, clear accurate markings on both sides, corners stay down. Very slightly textured surface will keep fabric from slipping. Care instruction flyer included in package. If you get fabric stuck in the mat when you cut, it’s likely your blade is dull, you’re pushing too hard, or you don’t have experience using the tools. Tested out on knit jersey fabrics with a large heavy Olfa rotary cutter. There’s nothing but positives to say about this cutting mat. I haven’t commented on the durability because today is the first day I’m using it, but don’t expect to have any issues from the looks of it.

Great, great, great, just need a bigger size
My mat came a day earlier than expected, which was great. As for the smell? There was a very faint, not unpleasant smell thatdissipated within seconds of opening the wrap. The color and grid make it easy for me to see, and I can tell both sides will work for me. With the few rotary cuts I’ve made there are no marks at all. I can’t speak for durability since I just started using it today. There’s only one problem. The 12×18 is too small for the sewing I need it for. It’ll be great for smaller projects, so I’ll keep it and will also get myself the large one! Oh, there is one other thing. The only place I can store it flat is in a box under a daybed in my combo grandkids toyroom/sleepover room/sewing room. I’ll have to keep it from getting dusty, but well worth it to have it. I wish there was some way they could come up with some kind of storage box that could enable side storage. I know they could if they wanted an edge up over other companies..

I picked up this not knowing how big it was, (my fault) but then somebody gifted me a huge self healing mat. Ripleys believe it or not, I use this one more. First of all it actually fits on my writing desk, second fits the style of my writing desk, third is super easy to clean ( I also use it for my mini dollhouse kits) I can get hot glue, craft glue, school glue, any glue, and I just rinse with warm water and scrub with a soft rag and it comes right out, and last of all… the quality is way better, it is like SUPER thick, and works great with both straight and “pizza” blades. Overall if your thing is crafting you NEED this, if your thing is quilting ( I also quilt) maybe invest in a cheaper bigger one, if your thing is BOTH, you decide ( in my instance I got a bigger cheaper, and smaller higher quality)

This cutting mat is thick, and totally flat.
I just received the Zerro 18′ X24″ cutting mat. It arrived boxed and even wrapped in cellophane with directions for care. Mat is totally flat and has very clear lines and numbers in inches and cm on both sides, plus geometric lines. One side printed in yellow, the other side printed in white so you can readily see which side is up. There was a little wait receiving it, but well worth the wait. The best part is that this mat does not stink like a skunk rolled in fuel oil. The brand I ordered the last time was so bad that I put it on a table on the patio but the smell never went away so I returned that one and ordered this delightful cutting mat which has only a faint smell of plastic as would be expected.
