Has not bonded on me yet and prints come out great.
No binding for me yet I’m almost done with the roll. Quality is nice too. It works great in my flash forge. I’m well pleased with the tesxture. Easy to use as well, the look is nice and shinny and smooth to the touch.

    Excellent filament, super great price!
Fantastic filament for the buck. I used a few spools of this printing some pegboard panels and the related brackets, and every print was perfect. Color was completely consistent from spool to spool. Each spool has arrived sealed and dry and ready to print, right out of the package. I am using this in an BambuLabs A1 and ithas so far performed flawlessly. Doesn’t smell weird (at least to me!) Excellent finish, all of the textures on everything print exactly as expected. Strength seems to be on par with BambuLabs and Inland PLA. Zero complaints, I will continue to buy this filament.

    Smooth Printing and Great Quality!
This filament prints beautifully right out of the box. The diameter is very consistent, which helps prevent clogs and under-extrusion. It adheres to the bed perfectly and produces clean, strong prints with a nice finish. The spool is neatly wound, and I’ve had zero tangling issues. Excellent value for money — perfect for both beginners and experienced 3D printing users!

Great Quality Filament – Prints Perfectly on My X1 Carbon
I picked up this SUNLU PLA bundle to use with my Bamboo Labs X1 Carbon, and it’s been fantastic so far. The filament feeds smoothly, prints cleanly, and the colors really pop once the models are done. What sold me on this brand was actually my son – his school has been using SUNLU filament for their projects, and he spoke really highly of it. That definitely influenced my decision, and I’m glad I listened. The spools are neatly wound, come well-packed, and the consistency has been spot on. Overall, it’s been a reliable and high-quality choice that I’ll be sticking with.

Good for strength, Bad for precision prints.
Not great for the tiny and precision matter prints. FYI, this only apply for this specific filiment, most of their filiments are great, andthe price is really compelling!Overall, I really like this PLA filament. It really strong and dense, somewhat flexible, but it is not dimensionally accurate, or at least not what they claim: +/- 0.02 mm. I’m having results anywhere from 0.03 – 0.07mm. I tried running with exact settings that the company recommends, but it still does that. Basically if im printing standing pole it will make a fat spot’s, with a pretty signigicant differance. As another negative, their website is a mess, there’s no useful info, and all the numbers they show on the web page do not match what is written on the spool, so troubleshooting is a nightmare.- I did dry it.- I did try to change the temperature of the nozzle, 190-240C’.- I did ran it in chainberd printer and without- And yes, I went through printer calibration like flow dynamics and rate.

Clear PLA is also pretty much the best PLA
**Update** I have a recent lightsaber project I’m putting together for my friend and tried out the silver PLA, and once again got pretty impressive results. Didn’t need to do anything crazy, standard 200/60 temps and a PEI steel sheet to print on top of. The results came out really clean and I’m really pleased. Based on this I can vouch for the basic color blends as well as the clear.**If you’re looking for a clear PLA that can print like glass, this one gives pretty good results. You will have to tweak your printer settings and use 100% infill in order to get there- consult youtube and websites like printables for more info. Some experimentation is probably necessary for this. What I really wanted to talk about is how good this specific blend of PLA is to print compared to most other PLAs I’ve ever tried. This material is not only strong (bending in the “weak direction” perpendicular to the layers this is only mildly less strong than certain tough PLA+ blends), but most importantly it prints with a consistency that outclasses most other PLAs I’ve tried. There are two prints specifically that highlight how good this material is for intricate or tough to print structures. A print in place MicroSD box (a popular design on thingiverse and printables), and a replica rollcage. You will notice on these websites that the PIP MicroSD box is extremely hard to print, with many people unable to get the arms to move because they’ve fused or are dimensionally inaccurate. I had this problem while trying my vast array of Flashforge, Inland, Creality and other filaments, but the one that did work on the first try with zero fuss and no fiddling on my ender 3 V2 was the Sunlu Clear. After printing with default no tweak printer settings, it just worked with the arms freely moving after I popped it off the bed. Similarly, I’ve had a heck of a time trying to print the rollcage design with other filaments, and even with Cura’s revised tree supports they did not come out right. The vertical bars sometimes messed up and either failed completely or looked saggy or goopy. Frustrated after several hours of trying different settings and in particular wasted PLA, I took out the Sunlu Clear and it printed first try, and in fact it probably didn’t need any supports at all except for the rear horizontal bars. Basically perfect out of the box. I never had to do anything crazy to print this material, just set the printer to 200 deg F and the bed to 60 deg bog standard settings and just let it go.I have to assume that this is likely because the clear contains less fillers than any colored blend. Regardless, if you are looking to print some complex and tough models, I would recommend giving this a try.

    Great for the price
For the price it is good quality, creates high quality prints, and has run well in both of my printers

  8. Aaron

    A Cheaper Option
This is a super-cheap filament at only about ~$12… For the price it probably has it’s uses! However, it certainly does a worse job than the other $16 Sunlu option. For my application, I’ll be re-ordering the more premium one!For some quick rough prints or PoC type stuff this could be the best choice, just not in my case!

PLA Purple: I printed my longest print yet and didn’t run into any issues. Did one calibration cube which printed well with standard PLA settings and then started a 70 hour print which came out well. Based on the closeup of the outer perimeters it looks like the filiment has good consistency.

When it comes to 3D printing filament, not all are created equal! This brand I have been using for a few years now and it never disappoints! If you want a good quality filament, this brand is to be trusted! Highly Recommended! There is only 2 brands that I trust in buying again and again, this is one of them! ESun is the other brand!
