Strong and solid, great sealing lid – so far so good!
I’ve been using the 1 cup Souper Cubes now for a week. I wanted to batch cook and then prepare an inventory of foods in my freezer for convenience. I only cook for one, so making large recipes results in discarded food at the end of the week. These Souper Cubes have been a game changer! I’ve made soups, chilis and stews in the crock pot, then transferred them to the cubes, and after frozen, used a sealer to finish up the process. This way, I can reuse the cubes in a rapid fashion. I purchased 2 one cup, and 2 two cup ones and this has been enough to get started. I will probably go for the 1/2 cup ones for dessert-ish or sauce-type items. I am curious to see how they hold up over time, but they seem strong and solid and the lid fits great with a significant seal, so I don’t anticipate any issues in the future. I got the blue ones which are attractive. They are easy to stack and store when not in use. I have not put them through the dishwasher or microwave yet.

The Cubes work GREAT!!!!!!
These are fantastic. Work great, I have a freezer full of food (after they freeze in the cubes, I use my vacuum sealer and then they are easily accessible). No smell from whatever I have frozen in them and they came with no odors. No issues with the seal, and they stack great in the cabinet. Now all I need to do is decide which of the frozen meals I want and microwave them. Soups, stews, pasta, chili, cooked veggies, desserts, mac and cheese! Glad that I found them.

My favorite kitchen accessory!
I’m going to be honest: I don’t spend a ton of time in the kitchen, I don’t really like to cook all that much, I’m not big on leftovers, and I rarely rave about any kitchen gadgets, but I positively LOVE these SouperCubes and have bought multiple sizes of them and given them as gifts, as well.I have a couple of comfort soup recipes I love but are a pain to make, so when I do make them, I make double or triple batches. The problem in the past has been freezing them in large plastic containers–they take up way too much room in the freezer, and once frozen, it’s super difficult to carve out a single serving, since the rest of my family isn’t in love with those recipes. Even if they were, we’d still have to basically thaw the entire frozen thing and then eat the leftovers in a couple of days or it would all go to waste. These SouperCubes solve that dilemma! I can’t overstate how much I love them, truly.I freeze the soup (or whatever I’ve made) in whichever size I need/want (and I’ve started making homemade pet food, too, so I can freeze portions of chicken or beef broth in the right sizes easily for making up pet meals, etc.), then once they’re frozen, I pop them out of the cubes, wrap them individually in wax paper, and store them back in the freezer in freezer bags with the dates/contents written on the outside. It frees up space in the freezer and frees up the SouperCubes for more batches of other things. It’s organized and so easy to pull out a single (or however many I need) serving to pop in a soup pot and heat back up in minutes for a homemade (and relatively healthy) meal. It’s also helping me stay on top of making pet meals, which can be… a long process. They’d be great for making batches of homemade baby food, too, or portions of casseroles, or whatever your heart desires. They have a variety of sizes for whatever you need.I will admit these cubes are on the pricey side, so I try to wait for them to go on sale, but honestly they’re worth the regular price. If I have one (minor) complaint about them, it can be a little difficult to get the food back out of the containers once it’s frozen. It’s very smooth, but it takes some hand strength, and my hands aren’t the greatest. It helps to let the cubes warm up just slightly (not enough for anything to thaw) or to have a stronger person handy, but if you’re the strongest one in your household and have difficulty, go slow, do let them warm up just slightly, and try going from one side to the other lengthwise rather than pressing in the middle and trying to pop the whole thing out at once. You can pretty much turn the whole slot inside out and it will pop back into shape and place by pressing it back in the right way, no problem. I don’t know if that will create weaknesses/tears in the silicon over time, but so far I haven’t had any problems with that.If you like to cook in large batches, meal prep, have a baby or pets you’re making homemade food for, or anything of that nature, you need these. They’d also be great for making up batches of juice or your favorite frozen (alcoholic or not) cocktails ahead of time (for all you partiers out there–you know who you are.) Freeze and store them in the 1 cup sizes, drop one per guest into each glass to thaw a bit before they arrive, and enjoy–safely and responsibly, of course. Just be aware that with alcohol added they might stay sort of slushy, so you might need to store them in the cubes in that case and just scoop them out as needed. That’s also an option for anything else if you don’t need the cubes for other things right away and don’t want to deal with the freezer bags, since they come with snap-on lids.

Wished I had bought these sooner!
I absolutely love this super cube silicone freezer tray. I am a widow and live alone. It is perfect for freezing soup. The frozen cubes come out of the tray very easily which I then put in a freezer bag. I recently decided to try some Marinara sauce because the 32 oz. jar is much too large for me to use up for just one person. Again, the 32 oz. sauce filled all 4 compartments which I froze. Popped frozen cubes into a freezer bag which frees me up to put something else in these silicone freezer tray. I thought they were pricey but am so glad that I bought them!

Quality item!
Run out and buy these now! If you’re somebody who doesn’t wanna cook every night and eats frozen dinners, why not just take a day and make your own? This is high quality silicone, easy to use and food pops out of it easily once frozen into these perfect portions. I’m in love

Pops out for easy meal prep
I received this as a gift. I liked it so much that bought it as a gift for my daughter. I use it when I make large batches to freeze. The only reason I give it a 4 star instead of 5 is the ice crystals that form on the top of the food. That doesn’t happen with other freezer containers. However, I really love how it pops right out of the silicone part. I can the move it to my silicone freezer bags combined with other self-prepared frozen foods to meal plan. I never heat up the foods in the containers I freeze in. This way I can plop them right out into a pan or an oven depending on what food I froze. I don’t need to defrost just pop it out frozen.

Organize your freezer!
I bought these as a Christmas present for my niece. What do you do with a huge pot of soup? I freeze them in these cubes and then seal them a vacuum sealer bag to preserve them for a meal later on. I love fresh watermelon juice all year round. This is how I preserve them and enjoy all winter!

Great food prep help.
I bought these 2024..the 1 cup size & the 2 cup size. They are absolutely excellent for freezing soups, chili etc. No freezer burn at all. Pop right out easily. I will cook a large batch of chicken soup, feeze it in both sized containers. Plus they wash beautifully in my dishwasher. Am about to buy one more, another one cup size. Recommend these highly.

Fantastic for meal planning it even just freezing leftovers so you don’t have to eat the same thing everyday. 2 portions fit perfectly in the square ikea glass Tupperware boxes so great for reheating. I’ve had them for months now and they wash well.

excelente producto, se sienten muy macizos y de muy buena calidad. hay que llenarlo hasta la línea porque si no se derrama en el congelador. es muy fácil sacar los cubos cuando se necesita

Great product that has really helped me out with meal prepping. I find this size to be perfect for single servings of soup and means I can make a batch of 8 servings at a time for freezing. Once the soup is frozen solid I can pop the cubes out (which is really easy thanks to the silicon) and store in a freezer bag so that the trays can be used again. This is also useful as the trays take up quite a bit of space in the freezer.

I purchased these in the grey as I was concerned about staining – I make a soup with a carrot base. I absolutely love these! Super sturdy – no collapsing when stacked. The silicone is thick and durable, but easily releases the frozen cubes. The rim around the container is heavily reinforced and keeps it’s shape. The lid has a snug fit. Cleans easily in the dishwasher. I’ve already recommended these to friends and will be purchasing more in different sizes. Seriously great when batching soup – freezes into pre-portioned cubes that can be transferred to a freezer bag for storage so you can freeze another kind of soup. Perfect for meal prep, and portion control. If you can afford to, I would invest in these.

These are great. I’m building up my collection of them. I work shift work so it’s fabulous for me that I can batch cook meals and take out a portion for those days I’m too tired to cook a meal from scratch. It does take over 24 hours to freeze properly in these trays as they are quite deep but they have been a game changer for me.
