A massive upgrade from the Silhoutte Cameo 4
As the title of my review suggests, the Siser Juliet is leaps and bounds better than the Silhoutte Cameo 4. I use both for print and cut jobs (stickers) and I can’t tell you how agonizing it was to use the Cameo 4. I had nonstop issues with the Cameo 4 reading registration marks — no amount of Reddit threads, troubleshooting, or YouTube hacks were bringing long-term success. And, it was ridiculously loud.I made the jump to the Siser Juliet and it is SO QUIET in comparison. So slick. Cuts with 100% accuracy. Not a single issue with it. Other reviewers indicate that it’s hard to figure out — not so. If you’ve been able to teach yourself how to use similar machines, you can easily learn this one. Plus, Siser offers you the chance to manually test your cutting depth before ever running a full print job. An awesome feature that saves so much time and product.I’m delighted I made the switch and have no regrets about tossing my Silhoutte directly in the trash. If you’re on the fence, I encourage you to take the leap. I’m expecting a long life from this beauty!

    The best first cutting machine.
Siser Juliet is my first cutting machine. I did a lot of researches before I bought this one. Silhouette and Cricut was on my checklist but it seemed their newer models have little problem with print and cut function compared to Juliet. I’m mainly using this machine to make stickers for our small restaurant and it works perfectly fine. It cuts everything super fast.

    Ditch your horrible cricut immediately.
I have been selling print then cut stickers for 6 years. I constantly had issues with my cricut – they push updates, things don’t work correctly for weeks. It’s such a frustrating hassle. I tried a silhouette and I did not like the software at all and ended up returning it.I stumbled upon this glorious machine by accident (I didn’t even realize it existed). It is amazing. I can’t believe they sell a cricut maker for the same price as this machine. The Juliet is an absolute beast. I got it yesterday and I’ve already cut 7 sheets of stickers with zero issues. I did have to watch some YouTube videos because it does not work exactly like you’d expect coming from cricut.I only use print then cut, but I want to give some tips for that (definitely go watch some YouTube videos of the red haired lady – she knows what’s up).1. You can download and play with the Leonardo application on your computer before buying the machine. You can fit so many more stickers within the sensor marks and organize them however you want. At the time of writing this, there is no iPad app, but I hope to see one in the future and I’m sure it’s a popular request. Their program works on Windows or Mac.2. Make sure you watch a video on how to load the mat. You have to load it by pressing the black arm in the back up to release the rollers, putting the mat in lined up with the gray marker, and then pushing it down. There are arrows on the screen to roll it back. There is an arrow by the bottom left sensor mark, and the blade must sit above it for the camera to sense the mark. It is not like cricut where you load the mat and it figures that part out for you. It sounds more complicated than it is, but coming from cricut it might feel overly complex and you definitely need a video to instruct you properly.3. For print then cut with lamination sheets over printable sticker vinyl, I chose speed 10, force 38, 2 passes and it worked the very first time I tried. You’ll never go back. I hope they put cricut out of business because their brand now feels depressing and obsolete. Between them constantly pushing awful, broken updates and downgrading the quality of my prints to attempt to force me to upgrade, I am DONE with cricut.

WILL NOT TURN ON, DEFECTIVE ON ARRIVAL!
I just opened this machine for the first time, and after removing the plastic and styrofoam pieces, I plugged it in and it WILL NOT turn on! I am so disappointed as I was planning to use it for a project this week, and now the price for this has increased by $30 and won’t ship out for 3-4 more days. Amazon is not offering a replacement, only refund, which means I need to reorder it. I also just saw there is another 1 star review on here saying their machine won’t start after it arrived either, and there are more posts on reddit about it, so it seems to be a quality check issue with Siser. Please fix this!

    Best cutter in the world!!!
I love this cutter. It has the best precision cutting. Way better than the other cutters I’ve used.

    Machine good, software bad
The first machine arrived DOA, but was quickly replaced by Amazon. The next concern came when I installed the software and had to create a login. My wife also created a login on her computer. She registered the machine in her name. I was not allowed to add it to my computer since it was already registered. That means I have to login as her to send a cut to the machine we purchased.I initially wanted the Siser because it appeared to come with flexible software with the ability to import SVG files. What I found was buggy software with no support. An SVG imported for Print and Cut is pixelated so bad it isn’t worth printing. If it is imported for further design work, the print button doesn’t work. There is no online support, just a manual to read. The machine may be fine for cut only, but if you are looking to work with SVG I recommend looking elsewhere.

Worth every single penny. I very nearly bought a cricut machine, but after reading lots of reviews I decided against it. I needed a machine I could use for my job and so I needed it to be reliable. This machine is just that. And I’m glad I spent a bit more for a better machine. I’ve been using it for a couple of months and haven’t had any issues yet. Before I set it up I was rather nervous as I’m not good with learning new technology, but the software is so easy to understand I barely had to watch any tutorials. I use my cutter for print and cut projects (bunting and stickers mainly) and it’s perfect for that. I’m 100% happy with it.
