Great fun solo or multiplayer
This is a fun one. I have about 300 board games in my collectIon. RPGs can take forever usually require meticulous planning. Shuffle Dungeons is easy to learn, fast to set up and teach, and has a rapid play mechanic. Very fun Solo and excellent for multiplayer as well. Good price, very replayable, good family dungeon crawler (a rarity), and solid components. Highly recommended.

Fun Little Game
This game definitely lives up to the company name. While the game is fun, don’t come to it planning to engage in major strategic thinking., The inside cover of the rulebook lays out their intention to create a lightweight dungeon delving game, and they have definitely succeeded at that. However, the same section of the rulebook mentions that there are optional rules in the back of the book to spice up game play and increase difficulty, and I would say they only achieved the latter two of those goals. All of the optional rules are about making the game more difficult, not really adding any new twists to the game, which is unfortunate. However, what there is to the game is engagingly fun. It’s a worthwhile way to pass an hour with friends, as long as you’re not looking for a game with any serious weight to it. Since my girlfriend likes to play games with me, but would rather be able to talk about other things while playing without messing up her game or anyone else’s, this game definitely is worth having in my collection.

Fun dungeon building game for serious and light gamers
Zero Strategy Games Shuffle Dungeons is a fun game where you build a dungeon, bulk up your character and try to defeat the boss in order to win. It is a cooperative game with everyone starting at different places in the dungeon with the same goal. Eventually, all of the players will come together and, hopefully, be powerful enough to defeat the boss. The good:Setup is VERY fast and you can be playing within minutesGame length is relatively quick at about 60 minutesThe game isn’t complex and is great for new or younger gamers to learn dungeon exploring gamesThere are optional rules at the back of the book to make the game more difficult for experienced gamersHigh quality componentsUnique mechanic that will allow dungeon rooms to turn into equipmentRelatively small box that is easy for transportThe bad:The cards are somewhat busy and, until you have played it a few times, can be confusing to rememberGameplay is not difficult so I won’t go into too much detail (plus there are plenty of gameplay videos online that go into detail in less time); each player can take up to five of the six possible actions on their turn in any order. The only thing that can change that and end a turn is if you attack a monster which MUST be the last action. These actions can be ; move, draw, play cards, use a card power, trade cards with a player (must be in the same room as you) or fight a monster. You are trying to get equipment that will increase your stats so that, combined, your team can defeat the boss.We had a lot of fun playing Shuffle Dungeons. It offers a fun experience that has some meat to it for a lighter game, there is little downtime since there is a lot of player interaction and the double sided dungeon tiles really are a unique feature. At $40 I think it is well worth the price for a game that will get both seasoned and new players to the table.

A fun addition to your dungeon crawls.
I think one of the main attractions of this small box dungeon crawler is its ability to play a round of this game relatively quickly with two players. It’s a nice addition to your board game collection both if your new to dungeon crawlers, like me, or if you’re a seasoned dungeon, crawler veteran, this game has an appeal for both types of players. The game excels in simplicity the pieces are cardboard. The tokens are characters are cardboard standees no giant plastic minis here. The game excels with diversity each card, which represents a tile room in the dungeon is double-sided, so the player can choose to either add the tile to the dungeon layout and get closer to the boss or take that card as an item to help in your battle later against the boss. The set up is quick. The gameplay is rather quick, engaging and fun. I’m pretty new to dungeon crawlers. I haven’t played but one of them before and found it to be fun. I still think my go to our card games and Euro games but I’ll keep this around for people to choose from when it’s game night. The instructions are easy to learn and follow along, however if your not up for that, there is a nice youtube how-to-play video from the creators.

Clever twist on co-op dungeon crawling!
Shuffle Dungeons is a refreshing spin on the dungeon crawler genre. Instead of trudging through static maps, the dungeon literally shifts beneath your feet as rooms rotate, slide, and flip to create constant surprises. It is a cooperative game for one to four players, and solo mode works well though you control two heroes at once. The goal is to survive long enough to team up and take down a boss monster. What I Liked• Setup is quick and you can be adventuring in minutes.• The dual sided tiles are clever since each piece can either expand the map or act as an item or spell, making every decision feel important.• Cooperative gameplay shines once paths link together and heroes combine powers for boss fights.• With eight heroes, seven bosses, and a large stack of tiles, the game offers plenty of replayability.Things to Know• The iconography can be confusing at first but improves once you are familiar with it.• The cards are visually busy, so new players may need a game or two before everything feels smooth.• Monsters do not take traditional turns, so combat is more about tactical positioning than attrition.Bottom LineIf you enjoy dungeon exploration but want something lighter, faster, and more unpredictable than the typical crawler, Shuffle Dungeons is an excellent choice. It is especially fun with friends who like a mix of puzzle solving and dice rolling. For the price you are getting a lot of variety and a genuinely unique experience.
