Extremely handy!
I have never bought a tension gauge because they’re bobbin specific. I’d have to buy several and they’re expensive. Now I have one that I can test on anything! It is easy to set up and use and is very accurate. Take the guess work – and frustration out of the tension settings!

Works good but no instructions
This works good and is easy enough to use, when you finally figure out how. It doesn’t come with any kind of instructions. I took off a star for that. It’s sturdy made and comes in handy.

Get the digital gauge instead
Just spring for the digital gauge!! I never use this. It does work. But the digital gauge is just more accurate.And you will need one anyway. Just buy it.
