Difficult to use…
I find myself needing help threading a needle these days, and this looked to be a great way to accomplish that. The concept is great, but the hook you pull the thread through the needle with is so tiny, you can barely see it. I also find it a bit awkward to hold onto the thread to pull it through the eye of the needle; but I feel that is more just a matter of getting used to using this needle threader. The part of the pin that has a little hook that sticks up which you use to pull the thread through is so tiny, it’s almost impossible to see. When I say tiny, I mean TINY! I have to use my finger to feel it. If you have vision problems, I’d have to honestly say that you might want to pass on this one. I’ve always used the type of needle threaders that have a wire loop that you put the thread through & then pull it through the needle are much easier to use. Guess I’ll just stick with those. I’m disappointed this didn’t work well for me; but on the plus side of things you get a lot (12) in a nice little plastic box.

Great little threaders!
These are great. They even work for binding needles with tiny eyes. Inexpensive, but the most effective needle threader I’ve found. I’ve bought them for workshops with children learning to sew. Highly recommend them.

Definitely A Sewing Necessity!
The frustration of using a magnifying glass to thread small-eye needles prompted me to purchase these needle threaders. I included a picture of the 12 threaders that I received. I was less concerned about the color selection than whether or not they were functional. The tiny metal hook had fallen out of the plastic body of one of the threaders. Fortunately, the tiny hook was still in the box. I used quick-drying glue to repair it. The threaders look and perform as described on the website, and they make threading small-eye needles a quick and easy task for me! I am pleased with this product.

Helpful but Still Challenging
These are a handy tool for those of us whose hands aren’t quite as steady as they used to be in life. My Mom who was a wonderful sewer quit sewing just because of that issue. Very tiny threader which I needed for my project but did have a hard time grabbing both threads and guiding them through the eye. First one I used metal threader broke off so it was thrown away. Second one finally worked but it wasn’t as easy as I expected. I was sent 12 in this packet in a plastic case. If I was to buy again I would get one with different sized threaders not just the really tiny ones.

Found it difficult
I found these very difficult to use. It’s a tiny hook so you have to hold the needle and put the hook through and hook the thread to pull out through. Sounds simple but I found holding all these small things and keeping the hook in the hole then picking up the just didn’t work. My grandmother had ones that were a metal loop that you put the thread through and didn’t easily fall out like the hook does.

Needle Threaders, TOOVREN Needle Threader ToolThe needle threaders arrived quickly and work well. I certainly can’t use that many, but in the past I pass them out to friends who are also at the age of needing help threading needles.This threader is simple and effective. They work great and you get quite a few in the order. The cost of it is a great value with different color options. It worked on both thread and floss for embroidery. The metal needs to pull the thread through the needle eye without tearing the thread. With embroidery thread it’s not the best unless you always use larger whole needles. Regular one strand sewing thread it’s fine.
