Our family plays a variety of board games during the Christmas gathering – different card tables in every room. When we saw this game played with a string circle and magnets, we searched and ran across this game board. It has proven the better purchase for us. The rules are simple, placement starting is so easy, then comes one magnet too close to another and the game really becomes fun. The more it’s played the more nuance is learned for placement. Storage is simple and can be played on any level surface. We understood a larger playing field could last longer, but consider this to be more strategy, as is chess, than were the playing area a circled string. Remember – magnets are NOT a toy and can be deadly for toddlers. With that in mind, this game is enjoyable and easy to play for teens and adults who will take such precautions.

Fun and different game!
We picked this up to add something new to our game night routine. I was surprised how much it made me jump when they all pulled in on themselves! It is an entertaining game and kind of reminds me of playing operation as a kid, trying not to hit the buzzer. It is pretty simple to learn and takes some skill to get it just right. It is good size for packing into a bag for camping or sleep overs, too. I feel like it was a good purchase and would buy it again.
