RELEASE YOUR PROJECT from the tangle of threads under your needle plate with the Madam Sew Birds Nest Untangling Kit. Accessing tight spaces where sewing scissors cannot, these sewing-tools free fabric with little risk of damage.
3-PIECE SET of sewing and quilting tools includes an 8.5” thread hook, 9.5” thread knife and 1 replacement blade. With a compact storage box boasting molded compartments, it tucks away in a shallow drawer or sewing organizer.
LONG, TAPERED HOOK creates space between fabric and the needle plate, giving you room to slip-in the thread knife and release your project. They are thoughtfully sized to reach where seam rippers and thread snips cannot.
TEXTURED HANDLES include knurling on the thread hook and ribbed indentations on the stitch releaser thread knife. These promote a non-slip grip and greater control so you slice only tangled threads and not the fabric.
SURGICAL-GRADE STEEL is long-lasting, rustproof and resists bending. Tackle the most tenacious tangles quickly and with minimal risk to quilt blocks, garments and other sewing projects with these must-have sewing machine accessories.

Must have for embroidery machine
I’ve been embroidering for at least 10 years and yes have survived without this handy dandy device, but whenever a rats nest has happened I have cursed, and just about destroyed the block I was working on. I have used this now 2x on a project and it has worked beyond my expectations. Simple, cut the nest, remove frame, fix, and you are again rolling. The same one in a fancy hard case was $15 more. Get this one.

Sturdy
I haven’t had to use this yet, lucky, but if I did, it would get the job done for sure. It’s very sturdy in the hand. Tho I’ve not needed to use it, I’m very happy with this purchase. It’s worth the cost

Works
I had a mess in my embroidery machine. It cut the threads and I was able to catch the threads. Worked great.

Helpful for machine embroidery
Super helpful when my embroidery machine tangles the thread under the hoop! So glad I bought this. Easy to use, just be careful because the blade is really sharp.

Great item to keep on hand
Much larger than I thought it was, but still very useful!

Machine embroidery Tool
I lost my last hook and knife post move. . I Used a boning knife with small screws on the sides that scratched my machine bed. Bought THIS set and am happy again. Price was excellent.

Didn’t know this existed
This is the tool I didn’t even know existed but so happy it does. It makes those thread knots so easy to deal with now. The frustration of trying to pull the fabric and thread out from under the sewing foot is over. It’s so easy to grab the knot, cut the threads and correct the problem. Love these.

Works wonders
So much easier to try and get out that fabric that ended up under the sewing plate.

Creo que durará toda la vida, está bien hecho, creo que será útil , pero es mucho mas grande del tamaño que imagine que tendría .

Have only used a few times but works great, wish I had it earlier when I had so many problems with Bird nesting with my Embroidery machine.

Having previously used a craft knife to sort out my birds nests whilst embroidering, I found this and ordered it. I just hope it works better than it looks. The knife handle is only polished on the top half, the handle area is heavily scratched, has sharp edges and even the end is not rounded off correctly. I will need to add tape to ensure I don’t hurt my hand or indeed damage my embroidery project whilst using it. Very Unimpressed
