Great addition to my laser engraver!
I have a pretty basic laser engraver, and of course from the factory it only does flat objects, circular things are a bit of a dream. This nice little bit of kit is the perfect upgrade for folks looking to go beyond “flat things” but don’t want to spend thousands doing it.The instructions are actually pretty good, so that was a nice surprise, it comes with a fairly informative little booklet to help you get started. As I’m a bit of a beginner in the laser engraving world, there’s a lot here I’m still figuring out, but I was very impressed with the quality of all the bits and pieces here, everything is machined quite well, and the precision is excellent. It does come with a riser to get your laser head elevated high enough over the workpiece, which is nice.In the coming weeks I’ll be digging into this a bit more and hope to update this with some actual results, but right now I’m pretty blown away by how nice this actually is. It seems an exceptional value for what you get, and compared to some other setups I’ve seen, you get a lot for your money here. 5 stars.

This chuck does not hold a grip
I bought this chuck for my Ray5 20w laser and it’s just very unacceptable especially for the price range smh the chuck does not grip tight without it coming lose and your cup or tumbler falling off getting out of its Zero and just messing up your product that you are trying to engrave. The support at the end of the chuck is not square and centered with the chuck it is off and only holds up on one wheel rather than being exactly on center so the cup with rotate awkwardly and come lose. For the money spent you guys need to do a better job at engineering these things. And figure out a way to lock the chuck jaws down without them coming lose and your product falling off….i am very upset with this item……..

Completely elevated my engraving skills
I have had my Atomstack A20 Pro for a couple of years now and have been wanting to acquire a chuck style roller for some time. I was offered this Longer chuck roller as an option and when I saw that it included cables that would work with other brand laser engravers, I immediately jumped on it to give it a shot.Once I received it, I was very impressed with how well everything was packaged and labeled as well as the overall solid build quality. It came with a thorough instruction manual and most of the items were assembled. I put it all together and used one of the included cables to connect it to my Y axis on the Atomstack and completed the setup in Lightburn as per the instruction manual. I ran several tests and all worked well. I did note that I needed to switch on the mirrored output as my laser burned everything in a reverse for some reason but that is a simple fix inside the software.A couple of notes. The extended rollers that are included to increase the stability sits elevated and requires the included foam foot to keep it from leaning over but it is a bit too thick and I had to trim it with a blade otherwise it lifts the entire chuck on tilt. Also, the chuck itself is quite tall and even with the risers I had for my machine, I still was not tall enough to accommodate my items to test with the roller. I would have really appreciated some additional risers as I am sure others will run into the same issue.All that being said, I am very happy with this chuck roller and can say that anyone with a laser roller, be it a Longer or other brand will benefit from this tool upgrade for their machines.
