Oh my gosh! I had 8 grandchildren to watch this past weekend, this box of fun was a lifesaver!! We used the “tug of war” rope for a start line and cones for a finish line. We bag jumped around cones, spoon walked stepping in rings and ran circles around team mates. Ages 14 mo. To 11 years. Some of the fun was created by 14 month old and 18 months old taking cones and moving them!! Girls won in tug of war, but boys ruled in ring toss! Best part, medals for everyone!! Kids made mom and dad join in tug of war when they came to pick them up! Smiles all around!

Mixed quality
The relay race set was fun, but a bit mixed in quality. The rings are very lightweight, which makes it hard to get them on the cones unless you’re standing close. The potato sacks have held up well—we’ve used them twice with no ripping so far. The tug-of-war rope was disappointing; it frayed and came apart after the very first use. The spoons were sturdy enough and manageable. Overall, it’s decent for kids’ games, but I wish the rope and rings were more durable.

Fun for Adults too!
I’m not sure what age group this kit is geared towards, but I got in mainly for the 4–8-year-olds I teach in Children’s Church. I thought it would be something fun for them while on the playground. However, I took it with me to the Marina on Memorial Day where I met my family for lunch (4 adults ages 27-74 and one 15-year-old). The egg on a spoon race was a lot harder than it appeared, yet not too difficult. My 36-year-old niece and I (50-year-old) tried out the sack races, which I thought would be too small for us, but we were able to fit inside, though smaller fit would likely be preferred. The rings for the ring toss are very light weight, which made it difficult to score any points as it was a very windy day. The tug of war rope is soft, preventing rope burn while playing, and also very sturdy. There was a lot of tugging and no worry of the rope breaking. The colors are very vibrant, and all the materials are very well made. I am confident my little ones will have a blast with this kit. My family commented after our play that having the kit made the day a lot more fun and provided plenty of laughable moments. Highly recommended. (Lost a star due to the rings being so light weight. I would have preferred they be a bit more weighted.)
