Cheaper than a new mat
Rather buy a new mat, I bought and have used this. It works fairly well at removing thread and cloth stuck in the mat, even without soaking the mat in the tub. However, I eventually need to do a deep clean after soaking the mat in the tub overnight.

I thought I could lan my cutting mat with a kitchen scrubby. I was wrong. this picks up so much more threads and fuzz. Well worth having this tool!

Lint cleaner for cutting mat
Nice size Seems you have to rub a bit to get stuck in lint off but loose lint come off easy. First one I have had so nothing to compare with as how good it works.
